TRP is primarily a reaction to American culture, American women.

I am sympathetic to TRP's assertions much of the time, but I think it is primarily a reaction to American consumerism and materialism.

My best friend is a German woman. I am happily in the 'friend zone' with her. At one point we almost dated but it never came to be. Now she's married but we keep in touch online often. She ADDS to my life. I highly value her as a confidant and advisor. Could I see this occurring with an american woman? Probably not. Maybe one from academics, a woman with a master's or PhD who values knowledge and inquisition. Academics is the ONLY subculture in America where I feel like I have good odds of finding a friend or partner who is able to think critically.

My German friend however is not a college graduate. I think her traits are cultural. European women are just not (as much) 'like that'.

I've dated heaps in Asia and will say that it's an entirely different world over there. In general the women there are more loyal and supportive. It still requires consistently drawing boundaries, as I do believe most women will test them, but hypergamy is not as rampant. This probably has to do with lack of supply and 'white face' but I have interacted with heaps of white European women too and they're just different.

American culture of consumerism and commodity capitalism effects women more than men. Obviously...American women are particularly depressed. They suffer from high rates of mental illness and prescription drug use. Higher rates than American men.

Ironically, American women think they're the most 'equal' on earth. It's a wasteland dating in America. It's all about sex sex sex. It's a byproduct of our media and capitalism. Sex is a commodity. As well as violence. Somewhere along the line, us Americans forgot that we can stop and smell the roses, that we could enjoy the journey (community, friends, family, experiences) as much or more than the destination (profit, fame, fortune, mansions, sports cars, a 'hotter' or more powerful mate). Hypergamy is just like greed. It's the same as wanting a BIGGER house, another million.

My advice to red pillers frustrated with life and dating is just get out of America. Because NAWALT. Not as much, at least. Not even close. An American woman will destroy you better and more thoroughly, on average, than a lady from any other place.
