Challenging expectations: TRP takes the side of a controlling, post-wall wife

Just saw this gem over in TRP and thought some of the folk here might like to have a look at it.

The TL;DR is that OP tells a story about how a man cheats on his wife and from then on is subjected to incredibly controlling behaviour, with the clear implication being that the woman was in the wrong.

The resounding response from the comments was that neither of them should have stayed together, and that her response was understandable and reasonable. There was also a strong condemnation of the cheating.
