The economic market is not self-regulating. The environment is wrecked, rich people accumulate more and more while the middle class thins out and the lower class grows.

And that's exactly what's happening to men on the sexual market place

I don't think anyone claims that "we'd all be swimming in mad cash/pussy". But it would make it easier to operate in those marketplaces, yes.

Well, I couldn't get behind the broader feminisim == more sex.

However, "end of slut shaming" == more sex seems to be perfectly rational.

The SMP is a supply/demand curve familiar to anyone who took Econ 101. Demand for sex, supply of sex, an equilibirum price.

Usually we price this in terms of commitment.

Increase the supply of sex by women, but keep demand the same from men, the price of sex will fall. More girls will require less commitment for sex.

Would ending slut shaming change the male demand for sex ? No.

Would ending slut shaming change the female supply of sex ? Yes.

By making having sex less costly to women, in terms of reputational damage, supply would increase. Ergo, if economic theory applies... More sex available, less commitment needed to snag it.

The real question is... Could we "stop" slut shaming ?

I doubt very much we could.

For a start, it is almost always women who create and enforce this barrier to free exchange of sex (not men).

Afterall, they are the ones who lose at the new equilibirum price... They will be offered less commitment than previously. Rationally, this would not be a good deal for women.

Also, both women and men have an internal aversion (a lizard brain thing) for promiscuous women. On a "gut" level both women and men disrespect a slut, irrespective of rational decision making.

Consequently, the people enforcing slut shaming (women) have both rational (brain) and irrational (gut, lizard brain) reasons to maintain slut shaming. As women do this the most, they won't change.

We all know how hard it is to change a woman, right guys ? How do you think feminism are going to be able to change women such as they take actions that are rationally against their best interests and at a "gut" level go against their "feelz" ?

Social movements can only work successfully with the "grain" of human nature... Movements that work against this fail... As it is currently setup, "anti-slut shaming" is working against this grain.

So.... Men should be for anti-slut shaming (rationally).... Women should be against (rationally and emotionally)... But as women do the slut shaming, they'll respond to their needs, and it won't get all that far.

Shame, could've been REAL useful to us.

You're comparing two really different things, this is not a good analogy.

Also , TRP itself encourages men to be manwhores so they are a part of the "slut culture" .

The sexual market is still in the stone ages and it will likely never leave. Government and society might help you economically but nature still rules the roost when it comes to relationships. The regulation is supposed to be that their is someone of your equal attractiveness who will accept you because they can't do better. However we all know that attractive guys won't just stick with their equivalents, and lower down women will go for better men (hypergamy). This distorts everything away from men. That's maybe why virginity until marriage and conservative values towards relationships were better for men. Liberal values are better for all women and some men.

Thats not what TRP says. When feminism wins, the alphas get even more options than they had before. The winners win harder and the losers lose harder.

If you regulate the free market, the businesses that are already strong enough and have enough money to afford large legal departments will survive and dominate, and small businesses will either fail or just be unable to grow because it would simply be too expensive and there would be too many regulations to try to comply with.

Same with the sexual marketplace. The alphas are already in a position to have lots of sex with women, and now that the betas have been kicked out of the competition the alphas enjoy even more success.

The fundamental difference between the economic and sexual market is that in the sexual marketplace the betas are not completely locked out, if they realize why women are not interested in them they can change and increase their value and enter the minority of men who fuck the women who would have been marrying the betas pre-feminism.

It's easier for men to get sex now than pre-sexual revolution, no?

From what I've read, today's men are much, much less likely to be virgins at marriage and a lot less likely to pay for prostitutes than their forefathers in the pre-WWII era.

The SMP has already been deregulated in the West (it was called the sexual revolution) and it did lead to women slutting it up and men reaping the benefits.

Otoh, the SMP in, say, Saudi Arabia, is very heavily "regulated" so most men there aren't getting laid before marriage (except with other men and hookers).

Hence, real world experience demonstrates, less "regulation" = more sex.

The economic marketplace can only be self regulating if there is perfect information which is impossible.

Feminism made sex more equally spread out to everyone. Women were encouraged to be chaste till marriage. Men passed around a few prostitutes with each other to get sex til and after marriage.

With feminism men and women are able to experience each other more.
