Well yeah.... going significantly above your league is kinda a gamble no matter who you are. While RP would probably (from my impression of RP) encourage you to "rise" to her level, I'm pretty sure that they aren't overly optimistic of extreme gaps in SMV.

BP believes in "troo luv", sp they'd probably either go the "we're all different route"..... which is true, just rare to see people tolerate such gaps imo.

whether one would marry a higher smv woman is something to discuss.

I'd do it, provided I could mitigate the risk somewhat. I'm a bit afraid of ending up like Stefano the Gypsy.

It seems to me basic probability (absent any other info) dictates it is.

The higher the SMV, the more people want to have sex with you (by definition). The more people who want to have sex with you, the more opportunity to cheat. The more opportunities there are to cheat, the more likely an opportunity will present itself during a "moment of weakness."

Getting married period is a bad idea for just about anyone. Most people do it just because society expects it of them. I very rarely see people who truly belong together, but a lot who want the security and status that comes with it. It's a romanticized financial transaction.

Original question suggests women's risk to reward ratio is more unfair than men's, provided both marry red pill style. If you mean they've done so then the RP answer is yes, it's too risky an investment. I think this question starts on a faulty premise.

Edit: or do you mean only specifically higher than her husband's? I am operating under the assumption that almost everyone married around their own league.
