Here's to my Talking-About-Shit-I-Otherwise-Wouldn't account. Is it a pity I need one? Hm, maybe. The thing is, human psychology is a trippy thing, especially on matters of gender. Transgender people exist because of brain wiring; I have a male brain, the same as any other man on this subreddit, but thanks to some interesting matters involving hormones in the wombs, my body is closer to that of the women in this subreddit. On the internet, most people don't know this. (Hell, in my daily life, most people don't know this.) I don't exactly have to tell them, so I don't. But if they do know, that colours their perceptions of me. Throw all the pills into the mix and you can see why I'm hesitant to dry-swallow them...

I've looked at plenty of things said on /r/TheRedPill on the topic of transsexualism. Some are perfectly understanding, discussing the issue of gender dysphoria in a clearly informed way -- certainly better than the SJWs do (the 'Truscum' in my name is a reference to a habit SJWs have of referring to any trans person who makes decisions based on logic instead of emotions and actually recognizes the existence of gender dysphoria as 'truscum'). Others? I have seen the term 'tranny' used more times than I would enjoy seeing it, I have seen people claiming transsexualism is better treated with therapy than surgery (it cannot be treated with therapy), I have seen complete bullshit dressed up as a legitimate argument.

I have no more closeness or understanding of women than your average man. I would say I have less. When I discovered the red pill, a lot of things fell into place and I understood the women around me far better. They treated me as one of their own, loosely, for the first fourteen years of my life (I am pretty blessed genetically by trans standards and started being read as male semi-consistently as soon as my hair was above my shoulders), but there was a very clear distance between the two -- I did not understand their brains, and they did not understand mine. I read up on that sub and, hey, some of the things women did actually made sense! My life is vindicated!

Then decided to click on a thread about that story of a woman who lived as a man for eighteen months.

"Well, this is a wonderful introduction..."

Put simply, I am conflicted. I am not entirely sure what position I occupy in red pill theory. I an undoubtedly a man, and I have a distinct feeling that perhaps part of RP-ism is to just tell you all to fuck off and go be the best man I can be regardless of what cruel jokes biology played upon me, but I am also a human being, and human beings regardless of gender enjoy knowing that they can be accepted as equals by their peer groups and not subconsciously or otherwise looked down upon.

Hm.

What, exactly, am I?
