I mastered all the skills on Khan Academy but received no black hole badge. I feel cheated.

Also, I don't know what to do with myself with all the free time now.

What makes your SO exceptional? Why are you the luckiest woman/man on earth and why are they with you in that case?

/r: She is incredibly astute socially. She is immensely fun both in private and when dealing with social situations. I like to play just as much if not more than her.

I will never have children, but sometimes I think about what if I did and what would I answer if they asked me "what did I do" when I was x years old. My grandparents, even my parents have so many stories and things to say about their lives, and also had a dubious priveliege of living in times or political or economical turmoil. I am a child of a modern world, all I can talk about is the latest movie, TV show or a videogame. I don't have "when I was a kid" story, because when I was a kid everything was pretty much the same as it is now and how will it be forty years in the future.

There was an electrical storm the other night where I live and it blew both of my LED TVs, the Xbox 360, and the HDMI port on my PS3. T_T

I just bought an awesome dresser. It's got 8 drawers and a little jewlery box cabinet and a tri fold mirror--basically everything I wanted in a dresser. I tried to take a picture to post, but I can't get anywhere near decent quality, so you'll just have to picture it. Got it for only $130 at a thrift store and it just has a couple minor dings and a stain that's covered by my makeup box anyway. And my SO actually likes it and doesn't think it is a monstrosity invading our room, which is a huge relief; the dresser is solely for my use because he can fit everything in his closet, so I wanted to make sure he at least liked the way it looks. It took a terrifying car ride pressed up against the steering wheel and a 6-pack to get a friend to help us get in the room but it's here and I love it and I'm pleased.

Any one ever been to the actual San Andreas? This is my third trip out there in the last two weeks. Grand Theft Auto completely lied to me. This place is more boring a paint dying competition

Today there was this couple at the bank. Both looked as if they had done hard drugs and were having tough times, but other than that they seemed like nice people. The guy in front of them turned around and asked them if the teller could help them with something (he was on the phone to someone.) Immediately the dude part of the couple did some weird Zeus pose and I realized he was sincerely trying to protect the both of them from the other guy. I think it was because the guy in front was very tall, which seemed to intimidate him. The guy then goes off about how he's not a civilian and how he was part of this elite military faction whose name I don't remember.

If he was telling the truth, I figured he had a massive case of PTSD and that the rest of us needed to quietly put up with him and not antagonize him in any way. That got me thinking about how many broken men are out there that don't get the support they need and how this bleeds into everyday life. Our military activity comes back to haunt us.
