So TRP promotes being dishonest with your intentions and manipulative. It always cracks me up when TRPers get angry at women for doing these things and then turn right around and copy that behavior.

This is the kind of thing borderline sociopaths do for entertainment. There is a consequence of any action you take and it's likely this kind of action will lead to negative consequences such as rejection from social circle and such.

It's not a 'nice' thing to do to someone but frankly, if the person doing it is willing to deal with the consequences, what can you do to stop them?

Allow me to play devil's advocate for a moment.

What the poster is suggesting, "black knighting", is cruel, no doubt. It's poking holes in a woman's ego for the sheer sport of it. It's mockery, it's disrespect, it's insulting.

However, isn't that what theBluePill is entirely about? Mocking people you dislike, whose views you disagree with and find laughable.

Kind of like how I find certain women to have ridiculously self important, inflated views of themselves and what they're entitled to. Views that are in fact, worthy to be made sport of.

Now blue pillers can come in here and say how they'd explain to their parents/children, how there's this group of men who they gather together to insult, mock and demean. Then I can do the same, substituting a few words as need be.

I don't black knight, nor would I -- strikes me as a waste of time. But the reason this debate sub exists, is because a bunch of people got together to mock, ridicule and satirize a bunch of other people. So let's either tamp down the moral outrage, or direct it toward a more appropriate source; TBP is an entire sub full of gaylubeoils, just with a different target.

How does reading this post make you feel about TRP?

I take everything on that sub with a grain of salt. A lot of it is written by men still in the butthurt stage. Any man who does this sort of thing is not for me, as most men won't be.

How would you react if someone articulated this concept to you in real life? Would you still feel the same way about that person? Would it matter who that person was, if it was your father, husband, friend, or son?

If I could I would probably try to cut that person out of my life. Any one who goes out of their way to poke fun of, or angers people for (non-professional) entertainment is not the person I want to spend time with.

How would you feel if you knew that your son was exhibiting this behavior to women in his daily interactions?

I would treat it as bullying, and act accordingly.

This seems to me like really light-weight, passive-aggressive crap that only works on people who are already horribly insecure.

If my daughters react to this type of thing with a shrug and get on with life as normal, I would consider that a small sign that I did OK as a dad.

It doesn't seem all that different to me from in-person trolling. I never could understand why people troll on the internet (it's just not my thing) so I really don't understand why people would do it right to one another, especially in the scenarios given in the post (i.e. a co-worker).

I can see how the anti-feminist tone of the "black knighting" trp post in question could be off-putting but none of the actual dialogue he suggests using seems very hurtful and telling a woman she's a woman, using metaphors and subversively disqualifying seems innocuous at worst.

Most of it sounds like my Dad joking with my Mom... who are still married at 67.

I completely support black knighting. In this day and age with feminism, its each man/woman out for him/herself. It's a man job to know what shit tests are and how to surpass them, and a woman's job to identify and not fall for black knighting. If you are a man and you successfully black knight a woman, then good for you, get what you want and show no mercy.

Would you feel comfortable articulating this idea to your mother?

I would perform a variation of it to my mother.
