Hookup culture seems to be driven by a smaller number of women who are fine with hooking up many, many times as well as women who'll use it to find an LTR. This is a big part of why women on Tinder can be so choosy: Even if they all picked the majority guys would go without.

Contrary to what your FOMO will tell you I don't see most people doing casual hookups. I see them maybe dating around a bit and then settling on someone. It's just that the women who want to hook up often have no problem boning five or six times the average number of partners.

A lot of times"Hookup culture" exists because it's only really a hookup for the man. Don't get me wrong women engage in and enjoy casual sex but they tend to prefer doing so with a FWB than a new guy every time.

Hookup culture is something different though, it's driven primarily by highly attractive men, or Chad for brevity's sake. Most women willingly and eagerly sleep with these guys because they want him to commit and for something more to happen between them. They know they can't draw it out and make Chad wait for sex like they can with Billy Beta, because Chad has many other options who WILL put out and they don't want to risk him losing interest.

The problem is, this guy always has a healthy supply of women thinking the exact same thing, he has no interest in abandoning his current situation for a relationship where he only gets sex with one person, when she wants to have it. So he pumps and dumps, and goes and repeats with some other girl the next time he feels horny.

If women could tie down any of the Chads they let rail them in their late teens/early twenties, the cock carousel wouldn't exist.

Supply and demand.

The demand for sex is through the roof. But demand for commitment is extremely sparse. Particularly in today's inequality driven society.

Men are willing to bone any woman who is presentable. Women give away sex for free to the top 20% in hopes that they will choose them for LTR when in reality, these women already gave 100% of what that top performing male wanted: Sex.

The end result is this created a dysfunctional SMP system that bought inequality even to the spheres of dating world.

We already have polygamous nature of men under control through laws. But women's hypergamous nature is running wild in 2019. And its ruining the quality of ALL women lives who want to close their legs at a disadvantage.

Hookup culture IS dating in 2019. Guys that are above average can get casual sex, so that's what their doing. Until that magic switch flips and they wife the next girl they meet.

Men don't CARE if women start putting their foot down as observed on this sub. If a woman has already had casual sex, they must always put out on the first date forever more. Who's going to put their foot down? Virgin 16-19 year olds that don't give a fuck about the Sexual Marketplace or hookup culture, that are just doing what their peers are doing?

Hookup culture is propogated by people who 100% of the time want to hook up. Unfortunately some people are assholes and give vibes of a long-term relationship and only revealing later that they want to hook up.
