Fuck her. I can’t stand these pick me’s who say shit like this. I’ll admit I was a pick me when I was younger as most of us were, but I never stooped this low to side with men accused of abuse or sexual assault.

Wow. This is insane. She is defending a man she doesn't even know against very serious allegations of domestic abuse while simultaneously implying that 1) Just because she has a "law degree", she knows exactly how all women would react in response to intimate partner violence, 2) that this man's right to privacy somehow overshadows his victim's right to be heard an 3) even if he did do it, he shouldn't be made to face the consequences of his actions.

I read that the victim was offered money to sign a non-disclosure agreement and she refused. If Octavian didn't behave in a way that would damage his reputation and future career prospects, what exactly is it that he was so desperate for her to not disclose?

Reading this made me angry, it reminds me of how many people I dealt with not believing me that my ex constantly beat me and tried to k*ll me.

Saying “She would be running out of your house as if her life depended on it. I have a law degree and I can see that that...” is so ignorant! Everyone reacts differently to abuse! It’s not easy to leave an abuser, either.
