During pregnancy it causes Milk Let Down (release of milk to prepare the body for breastfeeding) along with Uterine Contractions (to eventually expel the womb filth) and, of course, an intense desire to be held and loved and cuddled (to prepare the woman for her natural function of holding and loving on a baby).
