No, the main tenets is understanding and navigating gender dynamics. Think of Rollo Tamassi's work as somewhat the Bible on it.

Being fit is a goal and makes you more attractive to women which helps with gender dynamics, but the goal is not to be "muscular as f\*k*".

Not every one who comes here even really knows what TRP is about or has been here very long. If a guy is badly out of shape it is going to take years of work. He isn't going to go to a gym and be a power lifter by the end of the month.

Like others have said, most of the actual muscular and successful dudes who are out there living a true RP life probably don't spend their time reading this sub, and most likely aren't even aware of its existence.

There's also some guys who are lucky or talented enough that they can achieve results without lifting due to their personalities, money, or whatever trait it is that gives them social value.

With that being said, I still think that for 99% of men there is no excuse to not lift and take care of your physical appearance. If you're like me and don't really find any interest in sports or other physical hobbies, you should at least be lifting weights at a bare minimum, since I truly think that for most guys, your physique says a lot about you and is a reflection of your self worth and I find it hard for me to respect or take guys who look like shit seriously in the real world. I do think it is fair to judge other men based on their physique, because it's already going to tell me a lot about you and the reality is that most of them don't have good enough excuses to not lift.

I think lifting is a good metaphor for life as a man.. meaning you are always going to struggle, you are always going to be alone for the most part, you are always going to have feelings of anger and violence, you should always be focusing on your own self growth, you're always going to need discipline and consistency to achieve anything worthwhile.

I always thought that one day I would wake up and look in the mirror and decide "Yea I look good, I think that's enough.. I don't think I need to go the gym anymore, girls don't care about muscles anyways.. I can finally drink beer and eat junk all day without feeling guilty!".. yea thats some pure blue pilled bullshit, that day will never come, you need to learn to appreciate the struggle and the process.

Understand that if you want to be jacked, it is a lifelong commitment that correlates perfectly with my own principles.

Why do you care about someone else choices? Focus on yourself, not others. If you don't want to go to the gym don't go to the gym.

Maybe they got money to compensate it, maybe they have a personality, maybe they understand that their body is enough to attract his kind of girls. Maybe they are losers who can't get laid. Who knows? Who cares?

And it's not about getting as bigger as a BB - unless you want to do it.

The core tenat is not be muscular as fuck. It's to lift. Muscularity is an undeniable benefit one stands to gain from lifting. Mental health, commitment to a goal, doing something other than the default (video games, sitting on the couch) being better than you were the day before, and overall health, are all benefits to lifting. When we say go lift, it's not to get jacked but you stand to capitalize on the above mentioned.

Most men that arrive here are sad saps of men. Lifting changes that in a short amount of time.

A lot of friends of mine trying leaving me before coming back saying sorry, but is this shit gonna persist for the next 10 years ? I'm almost 5 years into Neetdom and I'm surprised by my ''resilience'' but who knows about the next 5 years ? Some guys in here have done more than 10 and they say they're used to it and live quite comfortably.

Honestly for the NEETs out there who are struggling really fucking hard with mental health issues I would suggest reading about therapy (Feeling Good by David Burns is a good book) and applying that shit to your own lives and experiment with weed or Tianeptine Sulfate, or any nootropic that make you feel good. Anything that can alleviate the pain. It can also be like 2 cans of beer for a comfy night.

Don't sweat it. You don't have to swim in your own misery. You can just chill.

And honestly if the people around you treat you like shit just go outside, go on adventure, go homeless, fuck it, start being free and doing whatever the fuck you want. I know it sounds cliché but we only have one life. Fuck society's vision on how a functionnal human being should be. Hunter gatherers didn't do any of that gay shit including sucking up to bald boomers.
