You can wait all you want but then if you’re months/years in and the sex is BAD, you’re basically stuck with that person.

Why would you have bad sex/risk infidelity for your entire relationship when you can just vet for that early enough on that if you’re not compatible, you’re not too invested and can leave?

It’s just the smart thing to do. If you stopped caring about the ~number so much you’d probably have better sex.
