I recently started taking a testosterone supplement, didn't fap, ate red meat pretty much everyday, slept 8-9 hours a night and worked out 6 days a week. Here's what I noticed:

You didn't take a supplement as you responded above, you injected test e which is completely different. Natural test production is something like 50mg/week, you are injecting 250/mg week(while it is 5 times normal it is on the low dose side and makes me hope you know what you're doing)

  1. I have a lot more stamina in the gym, my body recovers quicker from lifting, and I put on a lot more muscle.

Which is the test e. You don't put on kilograms of instant lean mass from eating clean and training.

Unlike previous centuries where men had high testosterone due to laboring in the field all day, men today usually sit in a chair for 8+ hours. So eating right, sleeping enough, and lifting all become critical to raise T.

If you are injecting test none of those things are raising your natural production of test because there isn't any production happening.

[–]MaxV331 6 points7 points8 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

He's just trying to justify to himself that taking steroids is normal and used the word "Supplement" to pussy foot around it.

[–]1PantsonFire1234 -1 points0 points1 point 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I basically took the natural route. A supplement everyday, eating food that boosts T (avocado, potatoes, other healthy fatties). I have the advantage that working out is part of my education and daily workload. Besides that I maintain release days. What he is describing kind of rings true, be it on a very basic level.

Besides that I think it's worth mentioning that surrounding you with high T individuals facilitates your own production (if you are a competitive type A guy). Just like you'd end up fucking your production if you spend a year exclusively with crying females. Another thing that helps is having small victories on a regular basis or completing some set goal.

Our current society does allot to sabotage the development of a proper man and subsequently punishes these same men for not living up. Claiming your male territory and living it up is probably the hardest step in a world full of office jobs and feminist rights.

[–]MFLUDER 6 points7 points8 points 10 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Where does one procure testosterone supplements exactly?

[–]Kill_Your_Ego 12 points13 points14 points 10 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I can only answer for myself.

My diet is perfect and includes fish, red meat, lean meat, and lots of veggies. With whole everything. Eat spinach and broccoli and cauliflower. They help with test. Hey why not make a stew in a slow cooker with lots of veggies. Cooking is healthy and cheap. I eat like a king for less money then all the plebs that I know.

Lift heavy things a few times a week. Get a simple pull up bar and put it somewhere and do pull ups and chin ups. Do push ups at home. Go hire a trainer and have him teach you to really lift. Compound movements. Or buy some kettle bells for home or something. Lift heavy shit several times a week.

For supplements take a men's multi vitamin, vitamin c, magnesium and zinc. If you don't get sunlight and drink milk then also take vitamin d.

Get eight hours of sleep every night. I also take melatonin and valerian root for sleep aids. And my room is blacked out.

If there's any more to do I'm not sure what it really is. Short of somehow getting diagnosed with low T and getting injections.

[–]greenbananas1 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Valerian root is proven to have very little to no effect on your sleep.

[–]danxmason 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Who cares? Placebo effect is still an effect.

[–]greenbananas1 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The effect is that you think you're falling asleep faster than you really are. That's what the study I read showed. So there's no practical benefit. It's your choice, but personally I'd prefer to spend the money on scientifically proven supplements instead.

[–]trpftw 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

  • Multivitamin like opti-men. Niacin helps. Vitamin D and Zinc Magnesium supposedly help but not much evidence.
  • HGW Horny Goat Weed / Icariin / Epemedium. Some of them come with yohimbe, maca, and ginko also boost T.
  • Lean meats. Turkey, Chicken, Lamb, Beef, in that order.
  • Have a consistent strong sleep schedule.
  • Lift weights
  • Win challenges, winning in sports, games, chess, chess puzzles, helps boost T. (Even beating hot girl shit-tests). Do not play a game where you consistently lose that lowers T, or games that don't represent your own skills (non-chess video games) or are dependent on teammates. That can add stress and needless anger.

[–]semondemon24 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Get grassfed beef - get it full fat. Not lean. Saturated fats from a good source are great for your T. Coconut oil is great too.

[–]Polaris382 5 points6 points7 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The whole point and intention behind your post is invalidated by the fact that your "supplement" is injecting Test. Come on man.

That's like a trust-fund baby lecturing people on how to make money.

[–]oyylmao10 points 10 years ago [recovered] (10 children) | Copy Link

Can you go a bit more in-depth about what exactly you did to increase your test?

Specifically, what testosterone supplement did you take?

[–]fjhlacrosse-2 points 10 years ago [recovered] (9 children) | Copy Link

I am running 250 mgs of test e a week for 10 weeks. Not exactly full blown juicing, and I accreddit a lot of the results to my diet and sleep habits.

[–]VodkaTankerSpill 21 points22 points23 points 10 years ago* (6 children) | Copy Link

hehe "supplement" you are blasting a test cycle, just say so, no need to pussy foot around. And most of your results are caused by pinning test. If you tried eat clean, sleep, train hard natty is nowhere near how its like on gear.

[–]Therealhero55 6 points7 points8 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

250mg weekly is a TRT dose, not considered 'blasting a test cycle'. If he had low test before hand, it would probably put him in the high normal range.

[–]VodkaTankerSpill 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

When would you say "blasting" begins then? You are right though I has somewhat knee jerk reaction, I'd say 250, is the limit of where TRT morphs into more than just TRT. Although o don't get why he stayed at 250, if one crossed the line might as well try and bump it up in the middle of cycle to get more put of it, especially if it is first cycle.

[–]fjhlacrosse-15 points 10 years ago [recovered] (3 children) | Copy Link

I don't want people to just accredit all gains to steroids though. That's the trouble. People get the wrong idea and think if they jump head first into anabolics everything will be better.

[–]blacwidonsfw 20 points21 points22 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

But that is the example you are setting...

[–]disniggatrollin 6 points7 points8 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Taking T or precursors will make you dependent on them in order to produce T. Also, I hope you're taking an E blocker or you're in for a nasty surprise, even on 250mg.

[–]trpftw 3 points4 points5 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes you can attribute most of it to steroids.

Also don't call something a supplement when you're taking hormones and illegal gear. Clearly those natural supplements weren't working so you opted for this.

No one here is saying there's anything wrong with what you're doing. Keep at it. Keep doing it. Only how you phrased it was bad.

[–]59thandNormal 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I really hope you know what you're doing man. I just started testosterone replacement therapy through my endocrinologist because of testicular failure from past cancer treatment. I'm on 100mg/week which is a conservative dose and my estrogen has shot way out of the the reference range for males. 250mg can very likely cause estrogen, hematocrit, blood pressure and fertility problems among other things.

[–]Zagiggity -1 points0 points1 point 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And he didn't have the foresight to put you on Arimidex or an AI? I'd seriously find another doctor/physician.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

This. Is. Some. Retarded. Shit.

[–]bonerdude420 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I was waiting for the part where he tells us taking steroids lets you walk on water and telepathically communicate with animals

[–]TrenAcetate 8 points9 points10 points 10 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Here's what I have noticed when my test levels are very high (on-cycle)

  1. My sex drive goes through the roof - Even if I have sex two or times in a day I still need to jerk it

  2. Find myself getting more aggravated and aggressive toward other people when they do dumb shit - blatantly littering, pushing into lines, retarded shit on the road etc

  3. Feel unstoppable in the gym - lifts go up, gain new muscle, bodyfat goes down

I also feel like I make good progress on my career and current projects, when you are banging new girls, looking good and killing it in the gym everything just falls into place.

I'm not saying drugs are for everyone by any means, but I can confirm that test levels are of critical importance to how you feel and perform on a daily basis.

[–]thefisherman1961 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I've never juiced and don't plan to, but I can definitely see the appeal, and that's why I stay away from it. Most guys don't realize how good of a high having high T is.

I've been dieting while lifting to maintain muscle, and have dropped over 5% of my body fat so far. I've definitely noticed my T levels steadily going up, and it's especially noticeable for a couple days after lifting. The same stuff that happens to you happens to me. I've been having sex 3-4 times a day, my patience drops for people that I perceive as being weak-minded, and I find myself listening to a lot of Rage Against the Machine.

[–]trpftw 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

3-4 times a day, I call bullshit. Does that shit not hurt?

You would also have a lot of quick drops in dopamine levels and lowering of T with that much sex but that's paradoxical because you may be raising T for the sex in the first place (if what you say is true, great).

[–]Primemale 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

I agreed with your post up until I saw that you are taking Test E.

As I have naturally High levels of testosterone, I will share my experiences, as they may be more relevant to the people who don't want to take synthetic test. Also just a fore-note to all the people that think ''you can't really increase natural test enough to make a noticeable difference'' TRUST ME YOU CAN Nature has set up the game already, and there is very big difference in behaviour from a high t man to a low t man, However there has to be a REQUIREMENT for testosterone, you can't and will not have high testosterone sitting around, being comfortable all day. Testosterone is generated by demand/stimulus, you need to push boundaries, be ACTION orientated, sociable.

Saying ''go lift'' is not good enough to have high testosterone levels (I have known plenty of guys that lift regularly that have low test-although the lifting causes a temporary boost) it has to be a mix of environment/stimulus and adequate nutritional status to create testosterone (t is produced from cholesterol) such as optimal protein and fat (macronutrients) and optimal amounts of vitamins, minerals from those foods, (micro-nutrients) such as the fat soluble vitamins A,D,E,K.

With regards to environment why do you think ghettos/rough areas and prisons foster high levels of testosterone, because it's REQUIRED, now you don't have to move to the ghetto to raise your test but you can for example lead others (other men, women, or family), push your social boundaries, compete (lifting, sport, even gaming) to increase levels. Some of the effects of GENUINELY INCREASING TEST: (as opposed to ''yeah I raised my test after that ZMA supplement'' etc nonsense.)

1) Complete unshakeable frame in any situation.

2) a strong sense of well-being/self worth

3) Severely heightened libido

4) NATURAL impeccable game (game becomes natural and effortless when you truly raise your test) Forget reading seduction material EXCEPT to open your eyes to the true nature of sexual dynamic

5) almost unlimited energy in the gym, (no I don't do gear) You will find yourself always saying ''one more set''

Initially to get some of you guys started you can ''fake it to make it'' just by changing body language to a more confident form, has been shown to increase testosterone levels, understand this and tap into your testosterone,(by changing the way you act act and think) it's a sliding scale and you can either go up or down.

[–]Professor_Red2 points 10 years ago* [recovered] (3 children) | Copy Link

For those of you who want to stay away from any "supplements", Christopher Walker's Testshock and Ali Kuoppala's blog anabolicmen are absolutely great resources for maxing T productive naturally.

[–]CrustsRemoved 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Do you know this from frist hand experience?

[–]Professor_Red1 points 10 years ago* [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

I'm not affiliated with either, so everything I've experienced is subjective. Don't have any blood work to know how much I've raised my T levels, but I have more energy, slightly improved recovery, and I've slowly bulked up while staying lean(but that mostly has to do with my diet).

Everything in the teshshock book can be found on the blog for free is you want to read through all the posts.

[–]CrustsRemoved 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Meh, it's like eating more veggies and popping a few vitamins ever hurt anyone. I'll give it a try.

[–]throwawaybeginner 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Yeah this is complete bullshit unless your "Test Supplement" was anabolic steroids.

Honestly even actual steroid use is known to have a bunch of placebo effects like the ones you listed below. Nothing is proven other than increased lifts at the gym and muscle mass.

Disagree? Get a blood test and prove you increased your test to shut me up or stop talking out of your ass.

[–]fjhlacrosse 0 points0 points0 points 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Already did boy. I went from 550 ng/dl to almost 800 ng/dl.

[–]59thandNormal 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If you're only at 800ng/dl with 250mg per week you are using some garbage testosterone. 100mg pharma grade has me between 600-700ng/dl mid week

[–]semondemon24 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

how old are you? 800ng/dl isnt above "normal range" - I would expect it to be greater than a 1000ng/dl. I am willing to bet you can reach that without your supplement. Anyway, the whole no fap thing does not increase your T. It may however increase the androgen receptors in your brain, which is actually different. If you increase your T, you may also end up increasing your estrogen. Your receptors for T and E are actually the same so you might not even see a difference and end up with boobies! Anyway... how old are you?

[–]epixs 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Hehe wait till your on 1g+ a week plus 19nor's ..you become a beast both in the gym and outside in life . It's like being at an advantage at everything .

[–]JimboLitres 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

i wouldnt run 250mg test e a week. its too low usually but your natural test will still shut down. if your cruising tho its a different story but if your cycling i would go 500 12 weeks then pct as usual with nolva/clomid. keep asin on hand. gl

[–]andeanballs 1 points1 points1 points 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I've read that vegetarians have higher libido. Can you point out the connection between eating meat and higher T please?

[–]disniggatrollin 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Smells like bullshit. How does one even measure libido?

[–]fucktales 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Basically, foods high in protein and saturated fat have been shown to increase testosterone levels. This is why eating red meat helps, as well as foods like eggs and avacados. In addition to that, a few vitamins and minerals like zinc and vitamin D promote higher levels. Basically just make sure your diet is good and you're getting all the nutrients you need and it won't matter if you're a vegan or eat steak and bacon. Stay away from foods with soy though, as that will lower testosterone.

[–]semondemon24 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Soy does not lower T; soy increases estrogen. Since your androgen receptors accept both estrogen and T, you end up becoming more feminine and hence have less effective T.

[–]fucktales 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Ok, so I was basically right, just not technically correct

[–]semondemon24 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yessir. Reason why I say it tho - just cuz you increase your T doesnt make your effective T greater. Its about the ratio of T to E and also your androgen receptors. It is the reason why some men grow titties after injecting.

[–]Rufio03311 point 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I took a T-booster once, all it did for me was I had a raging hard on all the time.

[–]razorwan -2 points-1 points0 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Go lift; you don't need testosterone supplements unless you're a pussy to begin with.

You also don't need testosterone to realize these things-- these are just RP truths in general.

[–]Adrian_mx -5 points-4 points-3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Our mind, our body and our soul are the ONLY tools we need to become the best of the best. As men its in our nature. People take drugs to get a faster and cheap way of becoming what they want to become. Its an excuse. We dont make excuses. We conquer our doubts, our goals, and we strive for more.

Although I agree with red meat, sleeping well, training hard, and no masturbation to increase levels of T. I will never agree on taking substances to quickly enhance yourself. Because when you stop taking those substances(and it will happen), you'll be even weaker then you ever have been.
