It doesn't matter what it is, it will always be men's fault. Why? Because it's always men's responsibility. If you're fat or poor, if your woman is fat or bitchy, if your kids are disgusting little narcissist assholes and your country is going down the shitter, it's your fault and the fault of your male peers.

I think a lot of men are just realizing that college may not be worth it to them. Paying x amount in loans and interest for a degree in typically overly saturated job markets makes some men say fuck college all together. They get started in trades or their own business while women have the herd mentality of you must go to college after high school so more do even if it isn't economically the best choice.

I think it's foolosh to judge economic and personal success off whether or not you have a degree. No doubt it's going to help a lot of people land good careers, but the simple truth is that too many people are going to college today to make a typical college degree the holy grail to finding a good career like it was in the past.

Yes I know there are good fields to be in like engineering and computer science but most people major in some dumb shit like communications, history, philosophy, and fucking women's studies.

Plus a lot of women know if it doesn't work out, they could marry a BB and still have a lavish life. Where men don't have that fall back and choose more carefully.

Here is a short story for you. Both my sister and I went to college the same year (only a 1 1/2 years apart age wise). Neither of us had a scholarship, just good old fashioned parents pay for college shit.

This was 2000, right when the bubble burst, by mid dec I had a choice, drop out and make real money to help support family members (like divorced mom, newly broke dad and 16 yo brother) or f-everyone and hang tight in college land. My sister also had that choice.

Guess what happened?

Yep, I had to drop and go to work and help support the home front. By my sisters graduation year (which I helped pay for on books/rent and other things) she had met a rich man that started paying for everything. Now she is a stay at home wife with a degree worth absolutely nothing anymore....

....and people wonder why it pisses some people off when women go for degrees like becoming a doctor just to throw in the towel at the ass end of college because they want to have kids. Its such a waste. So many other people could have been trained and schooled....but you go girl, get that degree!

No one mentioned the obvious, that unless you graduate from an upper class university, it no longer pays off. 40+ years ago with a degree you where pretty much guaranteed to get a position with a large firm, and then move up the ranks till you got some management position. Today this is no longer the case.

Wallstreet is the prime example, there was a study on new hires. Unless you graduated from an Ivy League school your resume was thrown in the garbage.

There was an exception the article did not mention, it was mentioned by Taleeb. The exception was if you where some Russian (ok eastern European) who had written some thesis on how to crunch numbers, wall street would head hunt these guys.

This is how wallstreet wastes talent, instead of the number crunchers going into research wallstreet head hunts them. Their number crunching is needed for making algorithms etc.

I might do a separate post on this, but here goes anyways.

I am in my fourth year of a university, studying two highly productive disciplines.

In my experience, I have found myself getting high grades whenever I had my needs fulfilled the most. There has always been a correlation between grades and self esteem. Whether they are related, I'm not entirely sure. Either self esteem causes high grades, or high grades cause self esteem, or another factor, something like happiness, causes A and B.

What are the chances that women are naturally smart, and their high grades give them high self esteem?

Anyways, back to my anecdote. I found myself getting high grades whenever I had most of my needs fulfilled . You can probably see where I am going with this.

There were always these girls in college, the ones with rich daddies who drank a lot, they were probably in a sorority, probably went out to hook up with guys weekly, who strangely enough, got very high grades.

And then there were the girls who were trying hard not to do all those things, and ended up plummeting their GPAs.

Anyways, I guess my conclusion is, women have higher GPAs because they have it easier in college and they get to fuck whoever they want whenever they want, while most guys sit home friday night twiddling their thumbs frustrated and tense (and some take violent action, as can be seen in Oregon recently).

If I had to give some advice to a guy, it would be to tell them to take a gap year and hop on gear so that when he gets to school, he can have a steady supply of pussy and work with 100% concentration on his grades. It's too bad many men are fooled and fucked over.

The percentage of females in STEM fields is much lower than men.

I'd say these are the fields that matter the most these days.

Most women get bullshit degrees in the liberal arts. Men dominate in the actual useful majors like engineering. Think about it. College is useless unless you get a degree in something useful, the rest is bullshit. Therefore, who would be stupid enough to go to college unless you are going to get something useful? STEM is only a minor portion of a university, everything else is useless, therefore it would make sense that only a smaller portion of a logical society would go to the university since only a minor portion of degrees actually deliver a return on investment and advancement of society. This further exemplifies the superiority of the male populace of society in how their decisions are driven by logic, unlike the inferior emotionally driven set of females who waste money without seeing the consequences (and not their money, but the money of the males due to this beta behavior of the modern male) on a completely useless endeavor.

My girlfriend had her degree long before I. I left college halfway through and started a business. Now she manages a sandwich shop while I can do whatever the hell I want while I finish my schooling.

I'd also like to point out, agency, you are responsible for finishing college, if it's the right choice for you. Even for a male there are plenty of systems of support in place to make it a realistic possibility for the majority. Many, I understand, in the minority are simply Sol. That's life. I'm only speaking about the majority here.

Wow, so many comments and nobody got it right.

Girls are naturally submissive to alphas (teachers) while boys naturally tend to challenge authority to various degrees, save for true betas.

Even though I'm far from Chad Thundercock, I was always revolting against teachers who were small time dictators, full of shit and couldn't teach themselves out of a paperbag while earning 30-40k a year.

I have never seen a girl do that.

School is less about being smart and more about sucking up to teachers and doing your homework and learning for tests.

Girls love to suck up to alphas, do everything they ask for and unless they're really stupid they get to go to college and ultimately most likely end up with a degree.

Same shit with jobs. Women stuck around with abusive employers that underpay them just like they do with abusive chad who sees them as low value easily replaceable sluts while I got the fuck out really quickly.

Honestly, the real reason for this happening is the distribution of intelligence of men compared to women. Women are much more average while more men are at the extremes. Once the IQ of the average college student drops below the normal (100) you'll naturally have more women in college.

It's likely made worse since men have other job opportunities (laborers) and the favoritism towards women in applications. But this result is expected.

It was a deliberate change to teaching and testing methods. I'm old enough to remember the big shift in the UK from "high stakes" 'O' Level examinations to course based GCSE's. One of the reason's cited for the change was to help girls (who were well behind boys in academic achievement at the time), with a system geared towards female learning strategies.

I'd say even in business classes it'd be something like 5 or 10 men to one or two females.

If I was looking at someone to blame I'd point my finger at schooling being geared towards females and the majority of female teachers in school discouraging young men.
