I was so stupid. I had texts that proved she was blackmailing me. A week ago she convinces me to delete them and royally screws me over.

If you guys don’t remember my previous posts I would read them before this. She had kept asking me for money and I told her no.

3 days ago my ex girlfriend asked me to come over one final time to grab all my stuff from her. (I moved out of the house we shared and just signed a lease on a new place myself).

Let me preface this by saying I’m not a big guy. I’m maybe 5’10 and 160ish. Her boyfriend is 6’1 or 6’2 and probably 220+.

I walk into our old place and she has a box ready. Her boyfriend goes to shake my hand and I ignore him. All of a sudden her boyfriend punches me in the back of the head and I fall over. He gets on top of me and goes to hit me again but I block it. I punch him as hard as I can and he staggers backwards grabbing his chin. I quickly stand up and tackle him into the wall. I punch him in the stomach a few times until he headbutts me. I lose grip on him and he grabs me and body slams me into the ground. He then gets me into a choke hold and she says she’s calling the police.

The police get there and believe their story. Crazy ex comes and attacks new boyfriend. I get arrested, bailed out this morning.

She called me on the phone and I didn’t think to record it but she said that unless I give her the weekly money like she asked they will continue with the charges. I feel like I’m really screwed at this point. What do I do here?

She also claims she never asked me to come over and that I forced myself into their house.

So I am being charged with: breaking and entering (she smashed her window on the front door while I was being choked out) , battery, domestic battery (she claims I pushed her while I was inside), aggravated stalking, and attempted robbery (she told them I tried to steal stuff)

So now I’m looking at YEARS in jail or however long of being in my ex’s mercy.
