So what this land whale has given is a derivative equation. You don't just substitute the number into the 'x' and minus 16.5. That's what the f(x)= is for rather than a 'Y' as in normal algebraic equations.

So when she was 17, 18, & 19, she slept with 23, 30 & 38 simps respectively. (I've rounded to the nearest whole numbers to simplify).
