This is why a lot of women today think pre 1960s women were oppressed. They were held accountable for their actions and didnt have a safety net.
Society didnt allow them to just have a kid and get free money. Plus socially they would be looked at like whores, unless they were widows with a kid.
All of the "Limitations" of the past were designed to eliminate both men and women from becoming what we are today.
It was more difficult to get promoted if a man was single, and he was looked at with distrust. And an unmarried or single woman was looked at as a possible whore that cant play her position in society.
Th government got too involved and ruined the natural order of things. When a man is truly the head of household, it's his job to keep everything in order, and a man that does that creates a woman that is strong too, because she has no choice but to rise to the occasion. But if she always has a, get out of jail free card, she will never make sacrifices, because she doesnt have to.

Itβs almost like children are a 50% mix of two people of different sexes. Somehow a statement of fact like that has been made controversial in 2019 by the radical leftists. Liberalism really does appear to be a mental illness.
[β]sehns16 points17 points18 points 6 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link
You're right but parroting that "liberalism is a mental illness" is straight from uncle Bobby's republican memes on facebook. Classic Liberalism is actually exactly what we are fighting for. (individual liberty, equality, freedom of speech) things the extreme left aren't interested in anymore. These are now conservative ideals. Saying "liberalism is a mental illness" is confusing at best, but really its just lazy and uninformed. We can do better than parroting nonsense here. MGTOW is about thinking for yourself.

I'm sorry but listen, I was a conservative before you lunatic "moderate left" came over to our party and now are trying to tell us what being a conservative is.
Being a conservative means you want to cut government spending, smaller government, less foreign interference, traditional family unit, traditional values, religious freedom, support the constitution, and more.
Also I've NEVER seen the left supporting freedom of speech or individual freedom. They simply support minorities and they always have. It's a political tool to win elections. They have never been interested in those things that you listed.

Just because left and liberal aren't the same doesn't mean you automatically are a conservative. Stop trying to infiltrate our party and subvert it. You're basically like the immigrants we're trying so hard to deport.

Liberal is a problematic word on an international site as it means different things in different countries. In the US it means politically left, in UK it meant libertarian pre 1900 and center nowadays. Liberals used to be the main opposition party to the conservatives before the Labour party was formed. In some European countries it implies slightly right wing tendencies. A Republican in Ireland is totally different from USA. The Labour party in UK is very different from the Labour party in Australia.

I dont know the details well enough. Ive heard it said that law-makers and judges from liberal and conservative camps have been responsible. The idea being, its hard to "get away with" (from a re-electablilty stand point) being "against" womens rights, and not just the basic "right to vote and get a job" stuff, but all this stuff in the last 50 years of them slowly just plain gaining control with regards to at least child support and such.

Yes. With the treatment I have received as a single divorced father, it's been all I can do to stay in my daughter's life and not kill myself. I'm glad there is a God and a hell, because the people who have betrayed me and treated me so horrifically will be going there.

Equal rights is premised on equal responsibilities and equal punishment and consequences.
Right now women have more rights, less responsibilities and can get away with literally murder. This is unearned and unfair privilege.
As a man, there is absolutely no way to defend yourself against a woman.
A woman can claim sexual assault from a man who merely stares at her (as per the infamous case of homeless man being jailed for staring at a pharmacist), or for being socially awkward (as per the 'shy' Harry Dunn case). Everything a man does can be considered sexual assault.
What reasonable recourse is left to a man? When a woman falsely accuses a man of sexual assault and even if it can be proven false, she destroys his career, his life and his future. When he sues her for a false accusation, he ends up bearing all the costs (like the Vic Mignogna case) and the police merely drop all false accusation charges on a flimsy premise of not wanting to discourage real victims from coming forward (as per the University of Kansas cases).
There is NO way to protect yourself as a man. Go Your Own Way.

The book, The Feminine Mystique, also contributed to this movement. Iβm all for men and women being treated as equals. But the book basically helped liberate women from being oppressed. Itβs like a lot of them want equality while still pretending to be oppressed, but they do have the equality. Seems a bit odd to fight for rights that they already have.
[β]Bosurd10 points11 points12 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
The government wants to feminize men and turn women into irresponsible thots. The more the better as it consolidates their power and simplifies mass control.
Now they have you controlled from birth.
[β][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Women weren't oppressed and never have been in first world countries. Many women today would cherish the idea of keeping house, raising your kids and taking hubby's credit cards to the shopping mall for a day out.
[β]Mundane_Batrachian1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This is an incredibly cold take.
You sound like a first/second wave feminist. My dude, the movement has already passed you by and you're the only one who never realized it was a naked grab for power at the expense of men, children and social order.
It's beyond pathetic that you're now grumbling that the people who hosed you aren't playing by the rules.

Previously they had safety net by exploiting their children. At the dawn of industrialism child labor was norm and lots of urban single mothers lived from their kids' wages. This social cancer was resurrected again in form of alimony and child support right after child labor become ineffective.

It boggles my mind how you can get so much in life for free/easily just for having a vagina yet think you're oppressed.
It actually boggles my mind to the point where I am grateful I am male simply due to the self awareness I have. Imagine being handed everything on a plate but identifying as oppressed simply because you lack complete self awareness.
Even in this world where white men are oppressed we have all the power due to our self awareness.

Its all mens fault on that one. We are the ones that put women on a pedestal. We are the ones that buy them dinner for the promise of sex. We buy rings and cater to their Cinderella fantasy weddings. It's all on us.
And we live in a world where a spineless simp can be successful, so he will spend his earnings on catering to a woman and when other women see that, they expect the same for them, because it's something that they see is possible.
This is why we have a generation of women that think they're all like the Kardashians. Monkey see monkey do. You'll get a 40k a year office chick buying $1000 shoes so she can pretend like she's a spoiled housewife.
Just look at womens dating profiles, they all say the exact same thing. Or listen to women insult men, it's the same 5 insults.
They're followers, so if one woman has something, they all think they deserve the same.

ANYONE who offers a desired product or service to a willing customer for an agreed-upon price is heroic in my eyes.
Doesn't matter if the offer is a laptop, pair of shoes, one's body for the night, or a vial of 100% pure Colombian cocaine.
If it's voluntary, it's respectable.
[β]coagulated_cumquats1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

[β]coagulated_cumquats1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Not sure I follow - you're saying that guys owning their own sexbots will force women to become prostitutes? But why would a guy that owns his own sexbot pay for sex?
The main result from the sexbot revolution will be stopping simps from simping imo - why orbit some whore for a chance of a whif when you've got it on tap at home, and without simps this whole female entitlement issue should resolve itself - if women aren't getting attention, they'll be the ones doing the chasing
But I don't see the correlation to prostitutes

I'm 36 years old. I have escaped marriage relatively unscathed. I gave her all the shit...all of it. The house, a car, the furniture in the house, the land it was on, etc... I figured I could buy new shit (I did, and it is better shit). I also think that since I've gone this far without making any crotch goblins, I may as well not. I just want a good dog. A good dog and a car that sounds like it is eating the pavement underneath it. This is the way.

It will probably only get worse. But I think it should be enforced that the money goes to the well being of the kid or kids.
[β][deleted] 8 points9 points10 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yep. We have the technology where the money could be dropped into an account and a card used to access it. Only school supplies, kids clothing, food, etc can be taken out, and the ex should have to approve of anything else (ie a laptop for the kid, presents, holidays, etc). There'd also be a record of where the money is spent, where and when. No booze, no handbags, no lingerie for the benefit of the ex' new boy toy, etc.
So, despite all this being easily implementable, it won't happen. Not a chance in hell.

Not good enough. Child support should be abolished for every child born out of wedlock. THEN THESE WHORES WILL THINK TWICE BEFORE BANGING A CHAD!
