Not sure if she's popular around these parts -- I've read three of her books: Anthem, The Fountainhead, and Atlas Shrugged, with the latter being her seminal work. She gave me a dose of Red Pill in my high school years, and it wasn't a coincidence that I was extremely successful during that time; I ended up getting into one of the top Ivy Leagues in the nation. It wasn't until I lost frame and sight of the big picture for a few years in college that I had to come back and really swallow TRP.

She's really interesting because she's a woman who recognized the female sexual dynamic years before any of us were even born. The sexual relationship between the two main characters in Atlas Shrugged is literally a model for a healthy Red Pill relationship. She's basically a wholly anti-feminist. The sex scenes in her books, while incredibly erotic, really give you a picture into the animalistic side of women. They want to be seized and fucked by a man who is satisfied with who he is and qualifies her as an extension of himself:

"Love is blind, they say; sex is impervious to reason and mocks the power of all philosophers. But, in fact, a man’s sexual choice is the result and the sum of his fundamental convictions. Tell me what a man finds sexually attractive and I will tell you his entire philosophy on life. Show me the woman he sleeps with and I will tell you his valuation of himself."

Moving beyond sex, the link I posted above is Ayn Rand's formalized philosophy of Objectivism, which is basically the philosophy of TRP minus 50 years... It's all about viewing reality objectively, and reacting rationally to it. And her logical conclusion is that there's nothing wrong with being self-interested (alternatively, self-invested) because that's all a man can do; he has to survive and do the best for himself, and morally-ethically there is nothing wrong with wanting to better yourself and your life. For me, this realization basically allowed me to lose all my "shame" of wanting to do what's best for me, and not worried about being labelled "selfish". I'm sure a lot of you on your RP journey have had people trying to bring you down with this line of thinking.

In summary: I highly suggest her works, not because I'm shoving my libertarian ideology or politics at you, but because her books and complementary philosophy of Objectivism are great for three things:

  1. Read her books for the sex scenes, and her female characters description of them. Be that John Galt, be that guy who is resolutely himself and who wants a woman who reflects that.

  2. Self-interest isn't a bad thing. You want what you want and there's nothing wrong with that, and life is about getting what you want. Collectivists will tell you that you have to submit your will to the benefit of the whole (read: the feminist ideology and their sexual strategy to weed Betas out) -- don't listen.

  3. Existentially they just really hit me to my core. Her philosophy is pretty Nietzschean: The only good in life is the will to power. Whatever you want in life, the universe will kill you in a cosmic second so you need to go after it NOW before you stop existing again. The moment is all we are guaranteed, and no other idiot can tell you otherwise.
