It's the hardest thing in the world, to have hiked that many miles, through so much biting weather, to climb the mountain in front of you only to find out it was never real.

At first it's horrifying. I went through it, so I understand it. But when you learn to truly let go of that picture you had built up in your mind, and you start to build that castle that only existed in the clouds of your mind brick by brick, you realize that you're finally free.

I was recently in a wine bar a well known pick up joint however it was a quiet Wednesday night. They were several booths with 2 women in late twenties early thirties on the prowl but no business to be had. Later I ended up in another bar four girls from the previous bar were in discussion the bar was empty I was in a corner and no one realised I was there. The four girls were discussing men and their friends who had recently married. It wa chilling to overhear the conversation it was about men, there resources and how good a provider they were. It was a light bulb moment looking at them earlier you think no biggie two girls out for a pizza. The you hear their conversation you realise they are appraising men for net worth with the direct intent of gaining it for themselves.

I'm gonna be honest. I'm from a depressed region of not really rich country and I have made not very wise career choices. Well, my parents lowkey did. I was also fat and awkward, so I was also a failure at dating too. At my lowest point my desire to pursue women just broke.

Now I live in a big city, making 3-4 times more than I did before, but paying rent and saving every penny possible for my own place makes me live poorer than ever before. I talked about this just last night with my father, whom I had gone to visit. He was watching Jeopardy. One of the contestants was an obese woman. Dad told me she was a lawyer like I am.

This is the gist of the rest of the conversation:

Me: It makes sense that lady's a lawyer.

Dad: Why?

Me: Because I know literally hundreds of female lawyers, and only one is really attractive. Most look like this Jeopardy contestant.

Dad: Why do you think that is?

Me: Because if you're a hot woman, you don't have to go to law school, medical school, become an engineer, or do something similarly difficult to earn a good living. All you have to do is use your looks to snag a successful man and leech off of him.
