Social media is a public shaming platform. Its the equivalent to the middle ages society. Where an accused thief would be marched down the village square while the entire village spits and throws rotten food, human feces on him. He is never given a trial, he is never given the opportunity to defend his innocence of a crime. He is publicly executed in the village square to the enjoyment of the village. Actually she didn't even accused him of raping. What she did accuse him of is being possessive and screaming at her, for the few weeks she lived with him. That, and not buying her a plane ticket. She knew him for a short while, but decided to move in with him because he talked her into it. He would then supposedly keep her away from her friends, lock her inside the apartment and not let her out (weird, isn't it?) and when they would go out he wouldn't show her the code to get back inside. And he would do hardcore sexual stuff to her... that is it. He didn't rape her, she moved in with him and stayed longer because he would pay for her plane ticket back. He would scream at her and lock her inside the apartment.... but he would also tell her he loved her and she believed him....
