When I was learning PUA before TRP was a thing it was pretty well known that the response to LMR was to withdraw attention. I have done this in many situations and it pretty much always results in sex. A woman who has come back to your house, or invited you into her house knows what she wants, LMR is basically a slut shield. If Ansari had have just taken out his phone, sat by himself on the lounge and started sending some emails and ignored her then she would have had her hand on his dick without him needing to push through LMR. It is always a bad idea to try and push through LMR, just withdraw attention and watch her come to you. Grace already planned on fucking him and this hapless beta moron snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Beta game is a misnomer, it is actually an absence of game, a void which includes pandering behaviour and passive entitlement that repulses women. To all of the Louis CKs, Ansaris and Weinsteins out there, at least learn some game if you cant be bothered going to the gym. Meaning the truth often lies right in the middle. The Ansari story is only told from one side, from a jilted woman who has her hamster in overdrive. The base assumption is that since Ansari looks and acts like a public beta, that this is the end of the narrative.

Celebrities are a specific niche in our Western society. They are carefully marketed and packaged to elicit a certain response. The image Ansari portrays is the marketing image that works for him, he may or may not be shades of what people perceive him to be. The counter argument is that since this woman also only knows his public persona, that' all she has to work with as well.

What I find baffling is this entire "If you frame up enough, you won't get fucked over" which seems to extend from the same Red Pill Marriage push, which is if you marry a worthless bitch, it's your fault for not manning up enough, without regard that the game is rigged so she can be pretty much as worthless a bitch as she wants to be ( i.e. handing someone a loaded gun and hoping they don't shoot you in the fucking face)

You can't control other people. You can only control your reactions and your power to walk away. These are two entirely different concepts that seemed to be blurred far too often on TRP because it's profitable to do so. If you can convince people that if they always do X instead of Y, and the secret to X is hidden in this 19.99 EBook, that's selling the real fantasy here.

"Game" is a tool set. It's not a shield. IMHO it's irresponsible to present it as such.

Sometimes the woman in front of you is just a fucking bitch. And you can't negotiate with an emotional terrorist. Trying to "game" a worthless fucking bitch is, in fact, trying to negotiate with said emotional terrorist.

Sometimes "abundance" means walking away from one specific situation or a series of them. Not recalibrating "game" to try to control one narrative over another. Ansari likely has many options, he could have shifted to another one. In the end, they are all just a bunch of warm wet holes anyway.

What no one talks about is what Ansari DID RIGHT. He might actually be a schlub and a Beta Bux commander. But when this broke, many people instantly rushed to his public defense. Because they liked him so much? Because he offered some type of current value that they wanted or needed as a basis of self interest. Whatever he was doing behind the scenes career wise, he was doing what everyone here is told about networking and building alliances. When push came to shove, backing him in public was worth more social currency than trying to hang him like everyone else.

"Game" is great. It's a fantastic tool set. But there is an actual boundary where it does not function as actual control. Saying that it works that way is great for individual marketing, but in application, I really doubt it's going to save most men out there.

There's a good chance Ansari did many things he could have done better here. And a good chance he did things previously that helped him when it counted. Again, the answer probably lies a little more in the middle than people want to admit.

If Ansari wasn't a wealthy, famous comedian he would be a currycel. A 5'6" Indian guy who sounds like he's breathing helium wouldn't have gotten a woman into his place if not for the massive amounts of wealth and status he has. But even then, you cannot negotiate or buy desire, which is why "Grace" lost interest as she realized he wasn't going to immediately LTR her and shower her with gifts.
