Haven't seen or talked to my kids in 5 years even though I have joint custody. I have finally resigned to wait until they are old enough to do what they want. Our courts and American society for that matter are a sick joke. Watch it burn without any positive male influence on youth.

It's designed that way on purpose, to turn men into debt slaves. If men don't pay child support, they're seen as SCUM, have their licenses get taken away, wages garnished and are thrown in jail. The state gives separated father's two choices, pay up with the threat of a gun or flee the country, take the 2nd option.

I’m a single dad. I came back home from a foreign holiday with my daughter (she’s 7) and for the first time ever at border control I was asked if I had her birth certificate to prove my connection to her, like the surname wasn’t enough. I now need to travel with my daughter’s birth certificate to prove I’m not a kidnapper (his words). I’m not really a conspiracy minded kind of guy, but I’m guessing no woman has ever has been challenged in that way.

I’m a dad with joint custody but full legal placement. I pay 100% of my kids expenses. If she decides to spend time with them, I have to give her money. It is what it is.

As an answer to the last question: Because equality for women in socio-political terms means dominance over men.

There is no equality between the sexes. It simply doesn’t exist. There are similarities. But that’s it. A square isn’t a circle. The entire case is one of the greatest stupidities in history of humans. It’s an idiotic kindness of men towards wahmen to fake the possibility of equality. An act of chivalry if you want.

Reading the heartbreaking comments on this thread is pretty much exactly the reason why I simply refuse to have children. I've been offered sex numerous times before but have turned it down on the grounds that it's simply too dangerous a game to play. It's horrible that it's come to making such a choice to keep my assets protected but it is what it is.
