Cavill is only stating his opinion. He outlined a concern I myself have. Speaking to someone in a bar is now a jeopardy of being considered harassment or flirting.

I agree with him for being reluctant on approaching women, and he's a successful handsome actor saying this.

I'm a regular guy who is not on his level of attractiveness or wealth. What chance to I have? I am glad he stated this as men in his stature are also running into this problem.

Such classic and iconic examples of "watch what we do, not what we say". He's privy to the absurd volume of false allegations and how the risk and cost of linking female wiles and emotional (in)stability with his livelihood and reputation is beyond reconciliation.

I've made the argument that women pose a greater civil threat to men than any one man could physically threaten a woman in today's western world. This is just another drop in the bucket toward that fact.
