In my experience, women keep men as friends to exploit them. Every favor I used to do for a woman was met with silence or hamstering when I asked for a favor back. So I stopped.

My experiences are that female friends just want you to do things for them or they want to use or borrow things you have. It's exactly the same as having a girlfriend, but with no sex. Forget that shit! No woman, outside of my mother and sister, ever did anything for me.

I spent most of my school life in an all boys school so all my friends are guys and I make it a point to avoid girls. Although guy friends use insults and jokes to communicate with each other I always find them more genuine as friends. Most girls act really innocent and sweet in presence of all their friends and as soon as one of them is gone they start bitching about her and judge her and elaborate on why they are better than her. This is a fact I understood when I shifted to a coed school(worst decision of my parents).

I don't have girl friends anymore. I downgraded their relations to such a level that the friendship has effectively dissolved. I did this after swallowing the pill. If you're going to spend time with a woman that you are not related to you should be either attempting to or are sleeping with her. I know that's a very TRP thing to say but it's true. If you're friends or see one another due to a hobby or business that is different and should be considered strictly interest based and professional. My view.

As a Man I expect to give more into any friendship interaction than I recieve back. But if someone, usually women, takes advantage or gets entitled about it. They are then cut off. I also believe women can be friends with a man without any sexual interest. But women will not maintain any friendship without getting resources.

Women are fair weather friends at best. So to avoid being friends with women isn't really a thing, since that isn't really possible. MGTOW just have the possibility of red-pilling you so that you recognize this truth.

You may think a woman is your friend, but if you look closely, this "friendship" will be nothing like a friendship you have with another man. She will not have your back if you get in a jam. The old blues song Nobody knows you when you're down and out particularly applies to women friends. If you attract any notoriety, or anything else happens that will cause a hit to her status via association, a women jettison you in a heartbeat. Men won't be so hasty to throw you under the bus.

But sure, in good times, a woman might seem to be a "friend."

"Avoiding friendship with women as a MGTOW" - I practice this, and I think other MGTOW should consider this seriously too. Of course, it's almost impossible to completely cut all women out of every aspect of your life - but you can limit your interactions with a small set of rules for yourself.

One of my most important rules is that I never allow untrusted women into any private space with myself. This means, no shared booth as a cafe, no car rides, never at my apartment and so-on.

I also have a very small number of trusted women who fully understand my MGTOW point of view - and who I occasionally use as a "safety" in interactions with other, untrusted women.

I further have a very long list of "red flags" which disqualify any woman from entering my "trusted list"

I know, it's complicated - but nobody ever said life was simple or easy.

While I won't say we should necessarily shun all women in this way, I think it's vital that boundaries are established and your personal integrity is kept. Do not let her exploit your friendship, and make it clear to her you will never show romantic interest in her.

The Beta Orbiters, as they're generally called, are controlled by an implication of potential sexual attention. They will provide and care for the women under the guise of being a friend, motivated by their own (poorly thought out) attempts at sexual Machiavellianism. In this way they are willingly exploited.

A smart way to have female friends is to expolit them too. She uses you for safety, validation, and etc. You use her to get to her hot friends.

At the end of the day men and women cannot be true friends unless they are both in commuted relationships. There will always be sexual tension, even if it's one sided.

Avoiding female friends is a good guideline.

I have TWO platonic female friends.

One is a fascinating conversationalist, well-traveled, and I enjoy the shit out of talking to her. When I was sick, she brought me food. She gives me rides when I need them. I hear her verify almost all of the MGTOW and TRP wisdom about women that I read on here. [She has a good father, so I think some heinous activities are outside of her toolkit, although some evil shit is totally in there].

The other, I spend time with related to a mutual hobby. Neither gets a pussy pass. When I travel or meet with them, we split all expenses.

Both are masculine women that don't need a man. They overpower and outwork the men they are with. They are both in commited LTRs with beta males. Neither have high N-counts.

Amusingly, one that I had who is no longer around was a butch lesbian. She agreed heartily when I mentioned that sometimes you have to choke a bitch to get her wet, but she left town for work and I have trouble staying in touch with people who move.

I suspect I can't have friendships with feminine, compliant women that I would actually bother trying to fuck. I'm okay with that; men are worth talking to, and women generally aren't.

If you trip over a good female friend, men, keep her. Be aware that you may go a lifetime without making ANY, and that's fine too.

Look's like i'm the only one who enjoys the company of a female friend from time to time. You have no idea how much i've learned about women's way of thinking, their mind tricks and so on just by going out for a couple of beers with a female friend of mine. The best tips about getting a girl came from her, she even has hooked me up a couple of times. Women can be fun to hang out with from time to time, depends on the woman, true, but its not impossible. About the whole "favour and exploit stuff" you just have to let her know that you have limits, which you decide in terms of helping her out and she can't talk with about her bf's and so on. It's really not that hard. When ever she tries talking about how downhill her current relationship is going (you can't really stop or blame them for trying) i just tell her "You know that i don't really care, right ? Were here to have fun, so don't ruin it" she immediately apologies and we continue doing whatever we were doing.

What sort of MGTOW has female friends? Acquaintances yes, but "friends"? Not me anyway.

Being friends would imply a situation where they have just as much to offer each other, of equal value and practicality. When is that ever the case a woman can offer something practical & of substance anywhere near what a man can? (for the record, being a "shoulder" or someone to go shopping with is not "substance" in my book).

Also, by acquaintances I mean "women I know of" who want my man-skill to get them out of the shit, like with their car, or putting a shelf up because their own unemployed/skill-less BF (who is often in the car while I carry the work out) only knows one type of screw (the one he's giving other women behind her back) yet she thinks he's amazing.

Obviously they are charged top rate, then forgotten about until they need something else. If I'm doing the car there and then for them while they wait they usually like to mention said BF and how useless he is at mechanics otherwise he'd be doing it IN FRONT OF HIM! This makes me very happy as I am literally getting paid to listen to a woman explain to me why she is a complete moron without realising it.

Usually when the job is done, they try to hang about and talk some more but I make my excuses, usually making a note to say "got to go see the boys now, bye!" while looking at the poor sap of a bloke in the front seat.

I'm contemplating this step as well, but I keep my eyes open. I wouldn't mind talking to women about artificial stuff, e.g. my mathematical interests (not like they know much about it anyways).
