For me, TRP is more like MGTOW+ or mens rights+ (just how atheism+ is to atheism) or a mainstream/watered down version of half-baked mgtow and mens rights. Their doublethink amazes me... how they have this mentality of scrambling around for technicalities in the law to "game the system" while dating and getting married to her terms and labeling it as redpill... when its bluepill as fuck. The way I see it, we've all taken the red pill because we see through the bullshit feminist narrative. Once swallowed, we can 1) go PUA (typical redpill), 2) go MRM and try to change the world or 3) give up on women and society and do whatever we want (MGTOW).

Some will say MGTOWs can hook up with women as long as no LTRs, but most TRP will say don't marry or LTR, so if a MGTOW is banging women he's pretty much TRP and not MGTOW, imo.

I don't see the need for any of the animosity that goes around between the 3 groups, we're all in the same boat. If other guys want to try changing the world or notch up their bedpost so much it breaks, I wish them well. I personally don't believe feminism can be stopped so I'm not really MR, and being near women makes me feel physically ill so no TRP for me. Thus MGTOW it is for me.

Vast majority of Red Pill aren't like you, so it won't appeal. They haven't had success with women.

They crave that desirability because they've never had it. It's a manual on how to power trip for frustrated loveless blokes that want to turn the tables and get back at women for what they feel is mistreatment. A lot haven't even kissed a girl before their teenage years are up and have often been spurned or publicly humiliated in their past blue-pill pursuit of the pussy. You've got the 'prize' in what sounds like a typical progression, at least a reasonable amount enough to realise the juice aint worth the squeeze. Changing the core of who you are to land a woman is not worth the trouble, in my opinion. I lift, have a professional career, 2 degrees and my own home. I read The Red Pill. It has some good content. I feel that I have something to contribute there to help men who do not feel the way I do about women (that they're a waste of time and space). But, it's a sub that promotes taking women off the pedestal, while concerning itself with the finest details of the feminine psyche, and how to manipulate those to your advantage. There's a massive contradiction there, and we can all see it. The only real way forward for these men is to accept the totality of their loneliness, to envisage themselves as the island that they were born to be, and rebuild themselves from the bottom up without trying to jump back into the pool in which they nearly drowned in the first place. The thing with women is, you can be an expert, an intermediate, or a beginner. It doesn't stop you from getting fucked, no matter how much you know (how much you think you know).

The Red Pill is for men who desire to have women in their life. It's strategies for achieving that end in the best way possible.

MGTOW is for men who do not.

PUA is for men who think that they can get women because of a pick up line or a game or a trick. TRP differs because it seems women as not worthy of being on a pedestal, that true change comes from within, and that like OP, being hot is the best way to have 'success' with women.

I don't think there is a real objective way to look at TRP. It's a subjective subject. Although many try to make it a one fits all sort of deal.

When that is my biggest disagreement with the majority of the people there. While I see the value in learning game, lifting, and making lots of money or in other words "being alpha".

I still see that as some superficial ideal that doesn't fit everybody nor is it best for everybody. In other words to me there are far more important things than crushing pussy, making millions, and being alpha.

This is perhaps why I side more with the MGTOW movement. I've done all of them too. I have done the PUA stuff and had success with it. I have done TRP way and fucked a lot of women but none of it was satisfying to me.

In fact it's only now that I have given all of that up and have started to live my life on my terms have I gotten a sense of freedom and liveliness to my life.

You see I used to care about being good enough for women, being alpha enough for them, and now I just don't give a fuck how they see me.

I don't care that I'm not tall and shredded.

I don't feel the need to hide my vulnerabilities.

I don't care if a women walks away from me thinking there is somebody better out there.

I don't care if I ever meet a women who would fully satisfy me.

I cringe at the fact that I used to put any kind of pussy on a pedestal or even cringe at the fact that I had a oneitus even though many men today have had this or even still do.

To me there has been nothing more freeing than letting go of all this burden just to keep some women around.

Some women who is not guaranteed to stick around even if I do hold frame or am alpha.

Why should I even put even one ounce of energy into women who are not going to love me the way I am capable of loving them?

Simple answer I don't need to at all. The only way I am capable of living a happy, stress free, and healthy life is if I just stop caring about women altogether and start living my life for me and doing the best I can with it.

I don't identify as MGTOW, but I agree with much of what is incorporated in it. I think TRP is a 'gateway drug' to MGTOW rather than a destination itself, but that's an entirely personal view.

I believe that if you're prepared to put a label on yourself (with the strictures that brings) then you should be very sure of your decision in doing so.

IMHO, MGTOW, TRP, and Men Rights are cousins. I think of it like Christianity, Judaism & Islam - the same cast of characters & locations, but different perspectives. There is plenty of good info in TRP, but there is also some BS. The MRAs mean well, but some of them whine a bit too much. Take it all in, use what works for you & disregard the rest. I find a lot of TRP stuff useful in dealing with my daughter & her friends.

I recommend the RedPillReadingGroup. We read No More Mr Nice Guy in January & we're currently reading Models. I'll admit that most of NNMNG didn't apply to me, but it was interesting & some of the activities were enlightening. So far Models has some good info even though I'm not terribly interested in picking up women I think the info & techniques will be useful in other social & professional interactions.

There's crossover. You need a certain amount of power to be free and certain freedoms to be powerful. These paths eventually diverge though. This divergence is the main difference between the two. The pursuit of power leads to obligations and politics. The pursuit of freedom is a singularly individualistic, guerrilla lifestyle that isn't for everyone.

Every man that comes to the realizations we have will have to make the choice between power and freedom eventually. Depending on who they are and their proclivities, they'll fall on whichever side of the fence they fall on. It has got nothing to do with who is right or wrong. Just different choices to the same stimulus.

reddit is mostly garbage so 'theredpill' subreddit has little variation from that. They aren't red pill. They are like 2% of the red pill because 98% of the red pill is not sexual strategy and is not even to do with women.

TRP, the subreddit, is run by children. They have a good intention but no way to guide themselves. To meet their goals you'd be best to seek 2 goals elsewhere, one being fit in a gym with a trainer/professional and the other with PUAs who get results like the RSD-team, Real Social Dynamics.

Even then until you comprehend the real puppeteering behind banking, weapons manufacturers and political theater, you understand nothing of the red pill.

While I have no desire to implement the strategies of TRP, I've gained some insight into female behavior. My experience matches TRP narrative with respect to women being irrational, hygergamous, etc. Once I learned to identify their crazy tactics, I can defend myself better. For example, there's no need to react to a shit test once you learn to identify it. MGTOW, brothers.
