First time poster (using a throwaway). The first time I heard about the red pill was from this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sz6NQ48VIUo (from Youtube user RedPillPhilosophy when it went viral with over a million views before the feminazis got it banned). A short while after that I discovered /r/TheRedPill and /r/MGTOW.

Just ended it with the girl I was seeing today. She is an international student and a couple weeks after our one year anniversary she brought up the fact that even if she gets a job after college is done she is not guaranteed a green card because the H1B is part of a lottery system now. She asked me if I was willing to marry her in order for her to stay in the country. Obviously after reading TRP and MGTOW for the past 6 months or so I told her no. I should have lied by omission but instead I told her about the risks of divorce and I do not want to lose my house and have to pay her life time alimony. This was about three weeks ago and she did not flip out, but the dynamic of the relationship completely changed.

We tried to make it work (mistake) and tonight we talked with her words being "I love you but I can't count on you". I told her she just sees me as a utility as a back up ticket to America and that is not love. I stood my ground on not getting married and protecting my assets. She eventually lost it and told me "You can keep all your precious money and go fuck yourself". (This is the first time she showed her true colors)

I simply said "ok" and hung up the phone.
