Find a good criminal lawyer and explain your situation. Keep his card handy and if the police get a hold of you again regarding this situation again, give them your lawyer's card/number and tell them that any further contact goes through him.

Similar thing happened to one of my fraternity brothers years ago. He brought a girl home that he'd met out at the bars. They were both hammered, and hooked up, but didn't fuck because they were too busy passing out.

She gets up the next morning, they exchange pleasantries and phone numbers, kiss each other and off she goes. He's thinking that he's got a line on a new future slam piece.

WRONG-O.

Guess who turns up at the house later? You guessed it, Miss Drunk Hookup Chick, avec boyfriend in tow. And she's PISSED. Why? Because when she got back to the dorm, her bf demanded to know where the fuck she was all night, and whether or not she'd been getting the Hot Beef Injection from Some Other Guy.

So what did our Special Snowflake do? She blamed my frat bro', of course. She hadn't drunk all those drinks herself, you know, in fact, she was probably raped! So in order to further her charade, she had to show up at the house. An argument ensued in the living room, and some ugly threats were made, but the noise had attracted other guys and the Hurt Boyfriend (who could apparently do arithmetic) figured out that there were now 8 other guys in the room, none of whom were likely to take his side.

So they left with some parting shot about 'going to the Health Center' for some or other test to see if her plumbing had been plunged to which my frat bro' shugged and said "Go ahead." Nobody ever heard from them again.

That, my friend, is what happened to you, minus (so far) the "potential rape" accusation. I suspect it will not be made, at this point. If it is DO NOT TALK TO THE POLICE. By the time they get to you, they will already have a narrative in mind, and it's not a good one, for you.

Note: While I am an attorney, I am not YOUR attorney. Nothing personal, but I have to say that. I have no idea what jurisdiction you are in, and odds are it's one where I'm not licensed.

Note 2: You may want to line up a criminal defense atty for your own piece of mind. Get some recommendations, talk it over with the one you choose. It's worth paying the lawyer for the 30-60 minutes it will take. And if they do arrest you, you will have someone to call.

Here is my Simple One-Step Program for NOT Talking to the Police:

STFU.

That's it. Call your lawyer and wait for the cavalry to arrive. While you're waiting, breathe through your goddamn nose. The biggest way people get into trouble is by trying to "explain" shit. The cops are going to try to turn you into a snitch in your own case. Don't do it.

Do not give any statements, do not consent to any searches. And have a password on your goddamned phone. In some states you can be required to identify yourself, so name and birth date are ok, but otherwise STFU.

Theory sounds correct. She called to justify herself to BF. What are they going to arrest you for? No rape kit - assuming no physical marks - no proof of anything untoward. Assault? Unlawful holding? If the former waa the case, they would've asked her on the spot if she wanted to press charges. Obvi she didn't.

I doubt a report was even filed. If it was, they would have interviewed you to get your statement. No crime was committed. She was seen by the bad patrons and uber driver leaving with you. She wanted to leave you said okay. And there is no proof otherwise. The cops.just gave you a talking-to to freak you out because that is what they do

I doubt she'll want to puraue it further and risk being exposed for her part in it. If BF pressures her, he might see her reticence ad being proof of her willingness. But more likely he'll merely blue pill and cognitive dissonance himself out of it, sweep it under the rug. If she does pursue it, lucks out with an overzealous DA, and somehow gets something charged, i cant see you taking a count in open court.

Depends what you said to the police, depends what she said to the police. It's important that you say NOTHING to the police. Never apologise (which is an admission of guilt). They want a conviction, not truth.

Honestly I don't know. Depends what she said to them. It's not clear who called the police. But you can be certain this girl is fucking trouble.

Do not have any contact with the girl, don't even answer texts or letter or anything. Literally all contact is bad for you.

Write down everything you can remember. Do it now. Write down what you remember you told the police too, and write down if you can remember them making notes or not.

Keep what evidence you can, if there is any.

What happens next depends if anyone prosecutes. There's not much you can do before that.

Theory

Your theory is wrong. The girl is fucked up, you know that much. She might have even set the whole thing up (either for the fun/drama of it, to get her victim-thrills, to get back at a boyfriend, who the fuck knows). She will take zero responsibility, that much is clear.

You have two main defences: 1: none of this ever happened (only valid if you haven't already confessed to the police) and 2: it was consensual. With 1, the onus of proof is on her (sadly she'll be mostly believed in court) and 2: the onus of proof is on you (sadly impossible). Any marks on her?

Caveat: not a lawyer.

Lesson learned: no rough stuff with strangers and without clear recorded proof of consent.

There's a good chance she'll drop it and not press charges, which would probably lend credence to your theory. If that's the case, you should be fine. If they thought you actually did something, you'd probably know by now. In the rare case that she's actually batshit and willing to truly fuck you over, then yeah, get a criminal lawyer asap. I really doubt it's going to come to that though

Sounds like you got lucky and got some cops that weren't willing to arrest you just because a random girl made an accusation. If the police charge you then obviously you'll need a good lawyer. Otherwise you should probably avoid contacting that chick and just lay low.
