Think of the way a tech billionaire can tell the world their status by dressing like dogshit. (LJBH here, I'm talking about Mark Zuckerberg on all occasions not involving Congress.)

By dressing like ass, the tech billionaire is letting everyone know that he doesn't have to signal anything. Suits are for Wall Street guys who have to tell you they're Wall Street guys. Hoodies are for techbros who can just ~~purchase~~ marry an Asian woman.

Lack of attention works the same way. You're signalling that you don't have to provide attention to others. This gives rise to the inference that you must have something going for you because you don't have to suck up or dance like a monkey or even notice other people.

Rather than putting out the socially normative signal (attentive, interested), you're putting out a countersignal (disinterested, barely registering the other person's existence). At that point, you're not even operating in ZFGland. You're failing to acknowledge that fucks are a thing, let alone that they have to be given.

in highschool I remember it drove my ex insane that I almost never snapchatted her, texted her etc except for when we would meet up. In hindsight it was because I was too addicted to videogames lol. But it worked, and it made her think that I had higher SMV or was more important than she was.

Lack of attention sends a clear signal that the man may be just out of her reach. Women want attention. When the see a guy who's attention isn't so easily obtained, it makes them chase. Also, women are attracted to men that other women want. A sign that a man has options is not frothing over every girl he sees.

If you are somebody who doesn’t give special attention to girls that conveys that you have an abundance of women and you’re a high value person (busy, preoccupied, focused are all traits of a high value person) You have to have some value anyway, she’s not going to chase you purely because you don’t give her that much attention.

I don't know much about any new woman, but in a relationship dread make your girl do stuff for you because I believe that it is her mateguarding mechanism.

Wikipedia states:

Female mate guarding is the act of guarding a potential partner away from other competing females. It occurs when women mate with males that are seen as desirable due to their paternal value and are therefore more likely to attract other females

The Oxford handbook on close relationships states:

"women are certain of their maternity; thus, sexual infidelity should be somewhat less disconcerting for women than for men. Women, however, have faced a different threat—having their long-term mate direct limited resources toward other women. As a consequence, a man’s emotional infidelity may be particularly distressing because it can indicate a high likelihood of him diverting resources to other women and their offspring. "

Dread activates their insecurity that there is a possibility of the man having an affair (and they most likely don't care about the sexual aspect but rather the emotional aspect because it threatens her and her kids' survival.
