Single dad, has custody of his children except a week-end once in a while. I need not to tell you that when you are a single dad, society treats you like shit.

So here it goes. Guy earns a good salary. We are talking about near six figures per year. Unfortunately, in Canada, when you earn near six figures, you pay around 60-65% in taxes/other bullshit. You have:

25% average federal tax

20% average provincial tax

5% bullshit mandatory retirement plan you will never see a penny of because "You earn too much hurr durr"

Another 5% for A lot of small things like parental insurance, employment insurance, union fees, professional fees, training fees and OTHER BS I won't name, that add to another 5% of his paycheck.

To give you an idea how bad it is, back when I was working, I was earning $2,120 per week or so. After all that bullshit tax deduction, I had around $965 left. Of course you still have to pay sales taxes (15%), property taxes (3-4k a year minimum), insurance taxes (on all the mandatory insurance we must take), gas taxes, alcohol taxes, etc etc etc.

Anyway to make a short story, my friend earned something like $85,000 per year, but after taxes/deductions/theft, he had around $45,000 left year. He worked some days during the week-end too, so let's say he worked around 300 days per year. This comes up to around $150 per day of work.

But anyway.

One day, some cunt teacher decides his kid is too troublesome and wants him plan on some Ritalin bullshit. Kid has good grades and can read well-above his grade, is the best in the class in math, etc. But because some cunt teacher (female, naturely) doesn't like that he moves a bit too much, she wants him drug down and neutered.

The school tells the father to get some ADHD evaluation. The father, doctor says the kid is fine. For a while, it stays like that. About a month later, apparently, the school had brought their own doctor and that doctor diagnosed the kid with ADHD. He orders the kid on Ritalin/bullshit. Keep in mind the kid is doing very well academically, he's just a bit too noisy and active.

The dad refuses, but they say the kid won't be admitted back in class without it. This leaves him three recourses:

1) Drug his son to satisfy some matriarch bitch who probably hates all men (just inferring here).

2) Home school his kid - oh wait, this isn't possible as homeschooling is forbidden here.

3) Move his kid to another school - oh wait, you can't do that, you have to go to the school in your sector. Sorry, can't choose your kid now, can you?

School is mandatory so basically he has no other choice. His only other option is to move so he qualifies to go to another school but hey, there aren't that many elementary schools around and the dad doesn't necessarily want to move away from his work.

So anyway, there is a fifth and final option. The dad hires an attorney and decides to fight it.

After several months, he finally wins. Finally, the school is forced to admit the kid back to class.

Now here's the issue: the dad already pays $40,000+ per year in taxes. The dad already works at least 50 hours per week and sometimes on week-end. He had to hire a lawyer for this, to protect his so-called "rights." The case only lasted one afternoon in court. It only lasted an hour or so in front of a judge.

Total cost for this bullshit? $15,000.

Now keep in mind the dad earns $150 per day. This in effect means he will have to work 100 days JUST so his kid won't be forced on Ritalin. Yes, for the next 100 days, the dad will wake up and work JUST to pay for the lawyer he had to hire to save his son. Imagine that: working 100 days to fight an injustice caused by an evil man-hating cunt.

THIS is the system you're in. Be a good little slave, work to pay your taxes and oh, you need one of your rights protected? Sorry, you're on your own. Enjoy wasting 100 days of work because some cunt decided so!

You pay a shitton of taxes here and you think you have rights, but you don't even have that. You're at their complete mercy. What if the dad DIDN'T have the $15,000 or the good job? Here, you basically belong to the state unless you have the cash to fight it. F*ck that.
