For those who don't know me or haven't seen me comment. I was raised in the Mormon church and still active in the church. I am, however, over the years noticed more and more feminism attitude spreading within our culture. It is little by little that most will not even notice.

Onto my story. There is a post on Twitter recently by a Mormon mom of 6 children who is claiming men are 100% responsible for all unintended pregnancies. I am writing this post because her feminist/gynocentric comments are really spreading, even with my Mormon friends. Please realize I am NOT saying men have zero responsibilities but to say the responsibilities are "equal" is very wrong. If you don't believe me, go watch the YouTube explanation from Karen Straughan - men have equal responsibilities.

Authority and responsibility goes hand in hand. If one is removed, the other becomes a joke (not taken seriously). Let me just copy a few of her comments, because it just goes on and on.

  1. She says: "That makes 24 days a year a women might get pregnant. But men can _cause_ pregnancy 365 days a year. In fact, if you’re a man who ejaculates multiple times a day, you could cause multiple pregnancies daily. In theory a man could cause 1000+ unwanted pregnancies in just one year."

I say: That is if you ASSUME any man can just get multiple women pregnant whenever he desires. As RPW, we know that is not true and only true if you are the top notch status wealthy man. If not, nope! This does not apply to most men.

  1. She says: "Oh. I remember. Men _don’t_ love condoms. In fact, men frequently pressure women to have sex without a condom. And it’s not unheard of for men to remove the condom during sex, without the women’s permission or knowledge. (Pro-tip: That's assault.) "

I say: Women have the right to refuse and discontinue sex if the man refuses to wear a condom properly. If he forces her, yes that's rape. However, he must abide to her rules since ultimately, pregnant affect women the significant ways.

  1. She says: " While we’re here, let’s talk a bit more about pleasure and biology. Did you know that a man CAN'T get a woman pregnant without having an orgasm? Which means that we can conclude getting a woman pregnant is a pleasurable act for men."

I say: Sure, men needs to orgasm in order to get his partner pregnant. Of course, it is pleasurable for him. However, women enjoy sex too. They REALLY do. This writer is assuming women do not enjoy it.

  1. She says: " When the topic of abortion comes up, men might think: Abortion is horrible; women should not have abortions. And never once consider the man who CAUSED the unwanted pregnancy. If you’re not holding men responsible for unwanted pregnancies, then you are wasting your time."

I say: Responsibility and authority goes hand in hand. These days, men have no authority over women's bodies. None whatsoever. Men can say abortion is terrible but once the women is pregnant, she hold all the power (from legal standpoint). Men have no say so whatsoever... even within marriage.

  1. Lastly... I can't find the comment from this Mormon lady since there's like hundreds but I read it last night that female birth control has to be taken religiously without much error... which is a burden for women and has side effects. She went on and say men have the option of vasectomy.

I say: Again... women do not want responsibilities. She just said it. Sorry, the buck has to start somewhere and since women can get pregnancy, she has to take care of it.

Anyways, she has pointed out more comments than I have time to type out. Whenever I see feminism garbage, I have to call out. Especially from Mormons. I am posting this because I feel strongly about this topic and I hope that in the future, any new RPW coverts will find this useful.

Your body, your choice? Well, your authority over your body = YOUR responsibility. If you want men to be 100% responsible, well give them authority.
