Introducing Partner to RP

Why would you introduce a guy to TRP? So he can decide to ditch you to go through all the phases and decide to spin plates? Introducing him to TRP will probably backfire. We have different objectives than RP men.

If you want an RP man, go find an RP man. Trust me, being around while a guy starts to swallow the pill is probably not a good idea. Stop wasting your time with this guy. Be aware that depending on the RP guy, you'll have to start from plate. Not fun. RPW heavily doesn't recommend this route.

In the meantime, it might be helpful to learn to accept a person for who they are instead of trying to change somebody. Trying to force someone to be something other than themselves is awful and you could be missing red flags because you are so preoccupied with "fixing" the list of things you would change about your SO. He's a person too, he's not a project.

If you’ve only been seeing each other for a short time and you already have a list of things you want to change, then he is not the man for you.

Also, why are you on Reddit around him and not giving him your full attention when you’re together? That seems rude.

Introduing him to TRP would be counter productive for him. Instead him to traditionalism. It pushes masculinity but and, unlike TRP, it doesn't devalue women.

Married 28 years. We started dating when I was 15 and he was 16, so my vetting was non-existent at 15, lol! My experience is interesting in that I started learning about red pill while my husband was learning about it at the same time and we both didn't know it. We started talking about RP one day and realized we had both been studying. I consider myself a "newbie" still even though I've been reading since last spring (I still have a lot to learn). So given that, I have been adopting RPW philosophies and he has been trying to understand and adopt RP in his own life. If he was raised differently, he probably would have turned out complete alpha as he has great RP qualities that have just been dormant. It has been hard though as he has gone through the stage of anger towards women and still is going through it and talking about "going MGTOW" except for me. I don't know how that is possible since he interacts with women on a daily basis, so not sure what he completely means by that. He is 50, so I have heard older men that incorporate RP later in life have a harder time. I encourage him to keep frame with the women at work. I can't lie, it has been very hard to watch his anger and let him know when I felt it was projected onto me. I have been trying hard to understand how to be the submissive wife, let him lead, etc. I am seeing now after 10 months that it is starting to pay off. He appreciates my RPW efforts and sees a difference in me opposed to the women at work that sh*t test him every day. I get your statement on not making him a project. I really try to encourage the RP ways when he displays them in a non-obvious way if that makes sense. I think RPW can encourage their Captain to lead and to be RP in a non-direct way when their man hasn't become RP yet. For example, one area my husband still falls back into beta is asking me permission; i.e. should we park here, should I wear this shirt, etc. I have learned to say, "I trust your judgment...". Maybe you could introduce him to some websites like "The Alpha Family", which I found when I started looking and you could ask his opinion on it. That could start him thinking.

Tell him that you're reading a self-improvement subreddit called RedPillWomen. Very specifically discuss the captain and first mate analogy. Tell him all about how the encouragement is to be the best "you" that you can be.

If he asks about the name, tell him about its origins from the movie The Matrix, and explain that it's a way for women to see through the "blue pill" of radical feminism, which few men are actively interested in, and learn to take the "red pill" of learning skills to become a higher quality first mate. Ask him "which would you rather date: a bitchy complainer who fights you every step of the way, or someone you can love and trust to help you?" The emphasis here should not be on the name of the brand, but rather on the message being delivered, which is a message of positive self-worth and continuous improvement.

On a side note, it frustrates me that the term "red pill" has become synonymous with toxic douchebaggery. The intent of the term is to explain the difference between thinking the exact same deluded way as everyone else and thinking for yourself. In virtually every other marketplace, they call people who follow observed science and not the herd "trailblazers", "innovators", and "pioneers". But somehow when it comes to the dating market, being individually smart instead of groupthink dumb means there's something wrong with you personally.

I'm just letting you know that apparently it's not as common of a thing here in RPW to be with a RP guy. I'm currently in a friends with benefits/unofficial dating relationship with a guy who is RP and he introduced me to it because I had believed in a lot of the ideas behind it beforehand without knowing it was a thing. We work very well together because we communicate well and have realistic worldviews. I have received confusing and less than approving opinions talking about this, so I expect you'll get a lot of that here in RPW. I just wanted to say you wouldn't be the only person who introduced someone to RP ideology and it worked out well, so whatever you do, you're not alone! RP thinking has really helped me so there's nothing wrong with trying to help someone else by showing it to them. You'll probably be the best judge of when the best time to do so is, since you might not want to bring it up first thing, but you should get your answer if you do. If he doesn't like it and leaves, boom, he saves you time and energy to find someone else and not stress about him. If he likes it and starts reading up on it, then yay for you for finding him something that he agrees with! I don't see the problem with it.
