Relevant: Was at work today and we were talking about women cause this really hot chick was walking around the produce department. That's America! I married an Asian chick. Not an American Asian, a freaking Asian-Asian. She is not submissive, gets her way most of the time, but by God she has a lot to offer. I bring home the bacon, she fries it up in a pan. She cleans, launders, picks out my wardrobe, mothers our child, works a lower-paying job, is always respectful. I rather enjoy cooking, mostly because most of my adult life I was single and in the military. I can cook and bake better than most women I know, probably because its something I like to do, along with restoring cars and practicing my marksmanship.
I was engaged to an Arab woman 23 years ago, she was like that. Made sure everything was taken care of in her space, even folded my dirty laundry before washing it a couple times because it looked untidy while the washer was busy. The more I talk to her now, all these years later, the more I realize just what I missed out on by not being able to marry her.
She contacted me out of the blue 8 years ago, and we talk on the phone often. She wont come visit because she knows she will end up fucking me, and she just wont cheat on her husband, even if he isnt giving her any for the last 5 years or so.

Exactly. Before I started reading TRP, I used to be nigh obsessed with a 27-year-old local girl that I'd known on and off for 10 years. Taking an objective look, I realize now that she's been in college now for almost 8, and if she ever manages to graduate, it will be with a degree in agriculture...with which she can get almost no jobs in this region. I'm not great, and I don't claim to be great. I'm not an alpha, at least not yet. I'm just learning what I did wrong for such a long time. I'm learning that just because she's a decent-looking female, that doesn't stop her from being a highly flawed human being. Take a RP look at her, and there's nothing to be attracted to. The fact of the matter is that men are desperate for women that women know they have power. You can see this play out in all kinds of places. "Ladies drink free" exists in bars because society has figured out that if you get a bunch of women in one place that men will follow. The reverse isn't true.
The competition over women (particularly over beautiful women) puts women in a strong negotiating position. Additionally, due to the social expectation that men should approach women (and not the reverse), it puts women into a position where they face little rejection. The "men must approach" norm puts men in a position where they aren't aware of how many women want them (thus helping to drive a scarcity mindset). I've seen situations in bars and clubs where some pretty girl(s) will get hit on over and over. She rejects most, if not all of them. (I actually saw one case in Vegas last year, where several good-looking guys were trying to dance with one hot girl. As soon as one guy backed away from her, another guy would jump in and try to turn her on. If you wanted to dance with her, you pretty much had to elbow your way in. It was a pretty crazy thing to watch.) This puts her into an abundance frame of mind (I could have any of them), and puts men into a scarcity frame of mind (another girl who doesn't want me). The different frames of mind also drive behavior.
The thing is, a man can abstain from the whole thing (I'm not going to hit on the pretty girl who will likely reject me), but he's still in a scarcity frame of mind, and she's still in an abundance frame of mind (because she still has all the other men hitting on her).
It's no wonder at all that women think this way, considering the kind of world they live in (i.e. a world with a bunch of guys trying to hit on them and sleep with them).
