Hi all,

I’ve been reading these methods, and, while I follow them, what I’m successfully doing is filtering out clowns. So I’m not getting used anymore, so that’s good. I was single for 2.5 years before I started this stuff and, 6 months after that, still in the same boat, except the time wasted is spread out between more men, because I cut them loose faster.

But what’s not happening- that I keep hearing about in success stories here- is these guys that are stepping up, as a result of these methods. Treating some of you like queens, really making an effort! I’m not sure if I’ve ever experienced such things. I see myself just stuck on a hamster wheel of filtering out what has got to be a good 20 guys in the past 6 months, and never getting done with it. Out of them, maybe two seemed like they were super into me, but there were problems with those guys (unemployment, soon-to-be long distance, really bad kissing, etc.). The consistent failure in this blur of men has been kind of damaging. No sex in nearly half a year now because I stopped with hookups, which is all that’s been available. My profiles look pretty good, but I don’t get the “tons of messages” I hear other women here are getting. Your ability to level up to these guys that actually try almost seems too good to be true.

So for those of you who are not only filtering out duds, but actually also getting guys pursuing you (who I’m assuming you’re attracted to), are you all 8’s or 9’s? Are you all in your 20s? Are these guys you date significantly older and worried they’re running out of time? It just all seems so foreign to me, the part of this strategy that leads to being coveted. Tell me about you?

As for me, I’m early 40s, attractive, decent job, work out regularly, dress well (can’t do super high heels tho, have a permanent injury), and I’m a good conversationalist.
