I'm 5'8... Not tall, but some men have issues with it.
I went on a date with a guy who was 6'1. I wore heeled boots, per my usual, and he wouldn't shut up about how I was eye level with him. He mentioned it about 5 times. Literally.
Now, my boots were 3 inches tall.... 👀👀😂.... Someone's lying...

Hahahah same happened with me. I was same or slightly taller wearing a 1 inch heeled boot and he was supposed to be 3 inches taller (5'10"). Idk where they're getting their faulty measuring tapes

I dont worry about being tall, I am relieved to be tall actually. My husband is my height and doesnt have a problem with me wearing heels or something. Other men are less likely to try shit with me and I feel less threatened because my height is actually a nice way of self defense. Teenage me was devastated tho. Up until I was 16/17 I was dreaming about cutting some inches off of my legs to be a "normal" height. Then I realised that it doesnt matter if anyone finds me hot or desireable, its worth nothing, and my insecurities vanished. I am still pissed off about double standards tho. Being a tall woman is not easy and those short fucks have the audacity to cry about how hard it is to be short? Tall women rarely cry about how devastating it is when they get rejected and laughed at because of their height. And if they do, nobody gives a fuck (while short men get sympathy from Pickmes and other men).

They always tell women to date short men but if a 5'6 woman marries a 5'7 man then their son will be 5'5-5'7.
Isn't it biology to seek taller men because then your sons have a higher potential of being tall? sorry i forgot biology is only an excuse when it comes to their favor.

I'm 5'10" and have literally never rejected someone for being shorter than me. I've dated many men my height or shorter. But if a man wants to be mad because I'm taller than him I mean that's hilarious. Sorry you needed an arbitrary thing to make yourself feel superior dude.

Ugh. As a tall woman I’ve experienced SO much hate from men with “small man syndrome” .. I’ve had men approach me in public and question WHY am I so tall, and tell me they’d never date a “giraffe” like me. 😐.. I once had a short guy hit on me on a night out, I wasn’t interested so I politely turned him down. He then proceeded to physically assault me and claim I was “discriminating against him due to his height”.
Growing up I was severely bullied by boys because of it too, as if it was something I could fucking change!?.. I’ve ended new relationships in the past when they’d tried to make me feel self conscious about it, or tell me not to wear heels. They knew damn well how tall I was, and I never tried to hide it. I LOVE my height and I’m proud to be the person I am. But damn. Men can’t handle it.

I didn’t mean not dating them as a punishment. I meant the rigid rules that we lay out such as “I won’t date anyone under 6 feet.” I know we all have preferences but I think that’s a very limited mindset when someone could be HV in every other way except for his height and it’s not something he can control. If he’s 5’ 9” and really kind to you I think eliminating him because of that one rule is using height as a punishment.
Same with us as ladies. We already get so much crap for not being skinny enough, tan enough, (insert bs societal expectation we can’t live up to), that I don’t think we should be adding or indulging men with their height requirements.
Just my thoughts on it.
