Hinge has been the most useful for me.

In general, I find most guys on the app are looking for relationships, not hookups. Or at least, it's easy to tell them apart.

I'd also endorse the paid version if you can. It allows you to filter more specifically. I found my current relationship by filtering for the guys who want kids and have matching politics.

I know Tinder’s got a bad rep. I know Tinder was a horrible idea. But I did it anyways and ended up meeting my caring, traditional minded boyfriend. We both can’t believe we met each other on there lol, but we are happy!

I met my husband through OKCupid! The compatibility questions are really nice. We've been married a year this Sunday and are expecting a baby in about six months.

I had bad luck with online dating because my picker is not always great but something about him just reached out to me. I had actually seen his profile for two years but thought he was out of my league.

I met my current boyfriend on bumble. However, for a long time i didn't have much luck on it haha, I guess I was quite patient.. also hinge is quite good.

Five years ago, I met my husband on Plenty of Fish. I'm sure things have changed, but I can say I had the most luck with the free sites. I tried some paid ones (Match/eHarmony/Christian Mingle) and inevitably, you couldn't tell who else had paid and could read your message. Literally everyone on the paid sites was also on the free ones. If anything, just pay for the free site upgrades that allow more swipes or something.

Honestly, I think it's regional, which sites are most popular. One person might have luck with Tinder is one area and in another, it's Hinge. I think it's more about how you present yourself and how much you're willing to put yourself out there that determines success.

so I met my long term bf on Tinder but it was a challenge trying to find somebody on there who was decent honestly. It was really just by luck we matched and we’re still together over a year later, we were both young when we met (me 17 and him 19). I think it’s just by chance you may find somebody worth your time on Tinder but don’t count on it, and Id say just browse on it here or there, and use something else like others mentioned. but don’t expect to find someone on their that’s not looking for a quick sex meetup or anything (i hated that about it, as i was a virgin back then and many guys will try to convince you to meet up with them but they don’t even bother to get to know you)

If youre in the usa, ok cupid is pretty good. Its got a compatibility rating based on questions it asks you. That way you can vet for people more easily. Also checking out the profiles there its about 50-50 low effort and high value profiles. Depends on your area so check it out

Another vote for OK Cupid. Match questions were a big part of it for meshing personality aspects.

I met my current bf on OkCupid but we had mutual friends, which I realized from his pictures. So that really clinched my decision to meet him, but the compatibility questions were helpful to know we had the same politics and values.

Here is the deal. There is no good or bad dating site except for POF. That is site is garbage.

I met the girl I thought I was going to marry on OKCupid, I met a girl I dated for 6 months on Match, I met a different girl I dated for 6 months on Bumble, I met a girl that turned out to be an awesome friend that hooks me up with her friends on Hinge.

My suggestion is to join Match, OkCupid, Hinge, Bumble, and Tinder. Then, do the work necessary top meet someone. Most people might have 1 or 2 of those, but hardly anyone has all of them. So unless you get all of them, you will be missing out on some potential matches.
