My ex is married to her computer programming. Her house (formerly our house) looks like someone had a war in it. It's a mess. The skylights are all leaking, the spackling is hanging down in threads, there's black mold going up the drywall in the basement because the air conditioner drip pan is so out of true that it's dripping down the side, and there are actual mushrooms growing out of the damp carpet under the couch.

As long as she has her methadone, she's happy.
