Hi!

I feel that my(25F) boyfriend (32M) is being selfish.

I have been not working since march due to corona, my family do work fron home and I do all the housework while they work and I am ok with that. Sometimes my dad gives me a little money wich I save in case I Need to spend some in ubers or something like this when I go back and look for a job when the pandemics end. I have no other money income for extras but I do not have to worry about my food or anything I need.

We have been in social distancing since then, my boyfriend is essenciaI worker and I have seen him less, since we are not going out at all.

The thing is that everytime that he comes to see me, I make some food so he can have dinner when he gets home, is something I do because It is a way to make him feel like I care about him even though we cannot see each other like pre corona. He calls me everyday and sends WhatsApp to check on me through the day.

For me is important that the man i’m with is a good provider. When we used to go out, he would pay for everything and that made me feel that he cares for me, but since the lockdown that has not happend for obvious reasons. He has not brought me anything, no treats or food that I like, he has not even asked if I want or need something that I cannot afford right now.

Besides that, he gave me a cat as a gift in christmas. I take care of it, I buy its food and everything it needs. Right now it got sick. I told him to see what was his reaction and he just told me to take it to the vet. He did not ask me if I had money to do so or to buy the medicines if needed.

I just feel neglected and i do not know what to do. I have asked him in the past for little things as a nail laquer and he says he is going to buy me some but he never brings anything. I feel sad. Please help.
