My girlfriend is a stereotypical feminine woman who responds extremely poorly to any sort of validation, compliments, and signs of high interest. She is in the perfect energy when she has absolutely no clue how I feel about her. Should I even bother giving her a gift in a nicely wrapped package? she wants nail polish. I am sure that she would be very happy in the moment but then would suddenly feel less interested in me the next day and have no idea why.

I have never given a bought gift, a framed picture (which I make) or other hand made gift to a girl with good results. Assuming we are still dating in 3 months (valentines day) I have a beautiful picture of me and her that I made but I just feel like it will show that I am way too fucking invested in this. I always let her do the lovey dovey shit and never tell her I love her unless she says it first and then grinds it out of me.
