When I was younger, I freaking loved this movie… Recently though, as watching it with my mom and realized how horrible some of the relationships in it are. Just makes me sad now. 😕

Say this though… The older couple Who own the store are the sweetest ever… I love them!

This character meets a LVM-type in a restaurant earlier in the film. They have a very interesting conversation regarding why he chases after younger women, and it actually seems like he has self-awareness and there is chemistry between them. He propositions her and she says no.

Now, I'm not saying I condone cheating, but in my mind her husband had already cut ties with her the moment he stopped respecting her years ago. So I always thought that she should have just gone for it, had a great time, and then slapped her scrote husband with divorce papers!
