I've always been the little science nerd ever since my first experiment in 3rd grade. Now, I'm preparing for college as a biochem major. These days, it feels like EVERYONE is going into stem but I'm worried that as a woman, my career (especially if I choose becoming a doctor) won't be very beneficial once I settle down and have kids. Not to mention, I'm worried that my RMV will decrease as a result of being too career oriented. Ladies in the med field- how do you balance your personal/family life and your career? What kinds of jobs in this field are more suitable for women?
