... stop. You are way over thinking this. If you want a belly ring, get a belly ring. Worst case scenario if your future bf doesn't like it, you can just take the ring out. Absolutely nobody cares. If you are 18 and attractive the last thing on your mind should be coming up with ways to expand your dating pool. At this stage of the game, dating is an elimination round. Worry more on vetting for compatibility. If you are the type of woman that would like to have a belly ring, then just be aware you will be filtering for guys that like women with belly rings. That's all.

The type of guys I attract/am attracted to don't like any body modifications on women (not a deal-breaker, just a turn off), but I'm also the type of woman who don't want them for myself. Some of my exes wanted me to get some form of body mods because they thought I looked too plain (or not "cool" or something). I simply told them I was saving any mods for marriage lol And they're exes for a reason.

I think you should do what you want for yourself, because if you hold off on doing something just because it might potentially reduce your options, then you're also less likely to catch the attention of those who are most compatible with you.

You should be focusing on compatibility, and holding on to what's important to you. You want quality options, not max-quantity of options.

I've wanted a belly ring since I was a child, ever since the first time I saw one. I think they're cute, sexy ... just overall very attractive. I got one for myself as a birthday present a few years ago and I've never regretted it. And on top of that, it's not a painful piercing to get at all!

If one day you do find you don't like it, you can always take it out. As for guys, I've never met anyone who had a very strong opinion either way. I'm sure some do exist, but they would be a minority.

I have one from when I was 18. I'm 28 now but I've kept it in. It's also motivation to keep fit as well.

I dress pretty conservatively and I never show my midriff anyway, so it's really just in the bedroom my boyfriend sees it. It makes me feel sexy to show him.

At the beach I usually wear a two piece but I do have a cute one piece that covers in case I'm around families or my boyfriend's friends.

A piercing doesn't mean you're slut, your actions and behavior do. So IMO it wouldn't repel potential good mates.
Nowadays everyone has piercings and tattoos, it does mean shit (I am a guy with a nose ring).

I got one years ago. I enjoyed it and it looks good on my abs, but i found it really hard to find tasteful jewelry for it. Most belly rings in stores are pretty tacky. When I did find one I liked, I'd eventually lose the top ball and wouldn't be able to find another nice one for ages.

These days I rarely wear jewelry other than a necklace and haven't had a belly ring in for over a year. My hole still never closes tho though I wish it would at this point. My SO is not opposed tho and since it won't close on its own I guess I should invest some time into finding nice rings for it.

All women love attention of some kind. They especially love the attention of "high value men"

High value men, the rare ones that most women want and want badly to get into a commitment have many options with many women. They are exposed to more women and usually have a greater understanding of base female behavior. One thing that most high value men learn very quickly is any sign that a woman likes attention a little too much, is a negative thing over the long haul.

Tattoos. Keep changing your hair color. Radical hair styles ( shaved head/mohawk, etc) Too many piercings.

Be who you want to be, but accept there are consequences for those choices.

My observation and experience is high value guys, the rare ones that most women want, don't want a woman who looks like a human billboard.

Here on TRPW, there are elements of "TradCon" abound. There are different shades of it, but the tone and theme seems the same. I.E. the "Surrendered Wife" protocol. To be TradCon, you have to embody and look the part.

The question women need to ask themselves here is "Is this worth a ring or not?"

A woman can get a bunch of tattoos. Her choice. Her right. But high value dudes will see that as a red flag and many will plate her, but not marry her, not give her a ring, not give her children.

If you want the TradCon life, you have to carry the TradCon look. Men have to do the same thing. Men out there trying to succeed in business. Yes, some can dress and look "alternative" but if they are in typical business/corporate environments, it means clean cut, short haircut, freshly shaved, business suits and business casual attire. You can't roll to a typical business meeting in a Harley. You don't meet her parents in shorts. You don't come to her parents house emptyhanded. These are elements on BOTH SIDES where you have to line up your appeal to your desired lifestyle.

Yeah, OK, that sounds good in theory. But that's not how it works. Both sides judge each other harshly on appearance. If we did not, the human race would have never survived so far. Cavemen liked cavewomen with long shiny hair. If you had long hair, it meant you were eating regular and were safe and in a stable situation and had health, which meant you stood a chance to have healthy children.

Markings imply ownership (being "branded") and damage inflicted (wounds) Men will instinctively respond to that.

I'm sure someone will say, so one tattoo is the end? Well when men chase a super hot high SMV woman, their margin for error with her is RAZOR THIN. She has so many options, she's eliminating men left and right. High value men, true Captains, are rare. In this day and age, esp in America, they are BEYOND RARE. They have options and they will simply be more in line with a woman who isn't a proxy for a human pin cushion. Fair, unfair, well, do you want a ring or not?

Once a woman turns off the "nurture signal" and the "feminine signal", he will instinctively see the woman as a plate or nothing. No commitment, no ring, no marriage.

This is the exact advice I give to men on TRP:

Having preexisting body modifications is generally an indication that a woman is not LTR material. The more permanent, and the more counter to cultural norms, the modification is, the stronger the indicator of LTR unsuitability.

If she has unusual piercings, especially facial, or tattoos, especially large ones or many of them, she will generally be easier to get sex from, but you will tire of her bullshit faster.

There are two reasons a woman modifies her body... to get attention from men, or to please A man. The latter is actually an indicator of good LTR value, but you don't care about that, because such women are off the market, and LESS likely to cheat with you. The former is a red flag. While all women want attention from men, and this is normal, we have found from simple experience that there's something special about body modification as opposed to general beautification efforts.

Such woman are, to put it simply, trouble. The more tattoos and piercings, the more trouble. While we know this empirically, rather than having a strong theory, our best guess is that it is an indicator of poor impulse control. This gels with the observation that such women tend to have more volatile tempers, use drugs more, make worse life decisions, and cheat more.

Verdict: Pierced ears are fine. One other discrete piercing is borderline, but okay. More than that, or facial piercings, or tattoos, ONS or plate only.
