Back in reality, women are shamed, scorned, ridiculed, and mocked on a daily basis for showing any sort of emotion besides happiness and compliancy.

Sadness is brushed off and excused as "hormones." Pain is brushed off and excused as "PMS." Anger is brushed off and excused as "triggered feminist." Fatigue is brushed off and excused as "manipulation." Fear is brushed off and excused as "misandry" and "weakness." Insecurity is brushed off and excused as "being easy prey." Confidence is brushed off and excused as "self entitled bitch." Confusion is brushed off and excused as "hur dur dumb blonde can't keep up with the men."

Dumped? "She's just fishing for attention." Cheated on? "She probably deserved it." Raped? "Nah, remorse."

"Oh great she's PMS-ing again."

"Just like a woman to be crying over nothing."

"Grow a pair of tits already."

"What, you expect someone to come hold your hand? Get it together."

"You're hot when you cry."

"Sorry you feel that way now get back to work."

"Guess your boyfriend cheated again, huh?"

*eye roll*

*sigh*

*groan*

Are all responses myself and every woman I know have received in response to showing any sort of emotion. Not to mention all the promotions we've missed out on when we've dared to have period cramps in the office or call out a creepy supervisor, the reputation we've garnered as being "emotional" and "unable to handle the demands of the job", the favoritism we've watched our male counterparts enjoy even if they've also cried a time or two. Because they're men, it's admirable and respectable when they show emotion. They're "brave" and "courageous." No one dare laugh at them out of fear of being "misandrist." But somehow it's not misogynist to mock a crying woman, because that's what women do. They're "emotional", what with their periods and hormones and cheating boyfriends. Let's all mock her life while we applaud the man in the next cubicle!

In my life and in the lives of every woman I know, our emotions have never, ever been "catered to." At best, we may find a close girlfriend to vent to, but scrotes refuse to do that for themselves because oh no, they can't look GAY by showing emotional support to their buddies!!1 The truth of the matter is, it's never been about men not having emotional support but rather scrotes reeeee-ing because the attractive woman won't give them the time of the day so they decide that translates to their feelings not being cared about. Otherwise, start normalizing it with your bros! But you won't do that because that's not your agenda. And for some reason, other men seem to escape this logical fallacy despite being the ones to shame other men, not women.

Ultimately, no one's feelings are that catered to in society. The world doesn't work like that but with men always having been on top, that truth hits a lot harder for them. No one is rushing to your aid the minute you let a tear slip no matter who you are. At best, scrotes will see some emotional support because everyone takes it seriously when a man cries. But women are the last ones to be coddled.
