I'm not sure on this one guys, I'm kind of in the same boat. Because of my job title I dont qualify for a bonus even though I'm working with 2 other dudes who do. They did the same and split the pot with me. After finding out that I wasn't in the running. I think it depends on the reason they did it. Are they close coworkers, or just doing it because shes a woman.

They are free to do what they want (though I doubt this story happened as it would be a PR and HR nightmare). But, maybe she was legitmately overlooked by leadership. Despite what many on here believe, there are still many examples of blatant sexism against both genders.

That being said, it all depends on their attitude when doing this. Did they feel obligated because she was working just as hard or did they share it because she was a woman? Were there also other coworkers that are men whom they didn't share the bonus with? This is a complex issue, and without more details I find it hard to judge either party.

Everyone here is so quick to assume the untold 90% of the story based on their own experiences. I know that many men here are mad, but I honestly feel like people put clickbait on subreddits like 2x to get this subreddit riled up and posting stupid shit in an attempt to get us banned.
