His daughter being with a man he disapproved of is apparently dishonorable, but him murdering her in one of the most disgusting ways possible and then parading her dismembered body around town apparently restores this lost honor?! Absolute psychopath. He needs to be cut up into little pieces and flushed down a toilet like the piece of shit he is.

There is no logic. Women will always be blamed no matter what man they choose. Choose a rich man, the Reddit mob will complain that poor men can't live with sex. Choose a poor man, your family will kill you for bringing them dishonor.

This is what misogyny does. This is why women need to fight for greater rights (over their own bodies) than men.
