Do you promise to complain to your bros about her nagging you when she expects you to be an equal participant in your partnership? When she gets sick of your shit and stops sleeping with you because you don’t contribute to the running of your household do you promise to post a headless OLD profile?

Oof. That's rough but true. Life is work and a lot of times, that work is not more fun than addictuons to videogames, porn, and weed (VPW). I honestly applaud guys who GTOW, and opt out of relationships for VPW addiction. At least they aren't hurting anyone but themselves.

Just want to chime in here that comics like these make it really hard for people like me. I got divorced shortly after I got married due to physical abuse, emotional abuse, and threats that were violent towards even others like my family.

One of the things that held me back from leaving sooner was the idea that giving up on marriage made me a failure inherently and how much people make fun of quick divorces. That’s kind of what this comment is saying - people take divorce lightly - and it is mostly untrue and really only advances patriarchal ideas.

I know this was posted here to make fun of men but that doesn’t seem like the comic’s original intent and I just wanted to provide my perspective.
