I think the moral of the story is that guys who want to be competitive should not stay salaried employees longer than necessary. Entrepreneurs / self-employed men who aren't comparable to other W-2s stand the best chance of out-earning most women given their unique positions.

"Beta bux" men are no longer competitive in the sexual marketplace---at least when competing for younger, choosier women. You have to out-earn women which can't be done in the workplace anymore (mostly).
