Why do so many women still want to be courted?

What is the alternative to being courted and dated? Either a woman is being courted and dated, or she's being... Used? Friend with benefits?

I'll say more courting on a mans end shows his interest. I dont think it necessarily has to be 'traditional' but some form of courting.

In my life experience men that dont do it are not really interested in you or just want sex.

Im not saying a man has to pay for everything and plan all dates at all but in those very beginning stages if hes not doing any sort of courting hes just not that interested. Period. Many women know this. I know this.

Plenty of women are also looking for men, and I don't think arranging dates is a one sided thing for women do men not want to get to know someone before entering a relationship?

"Traditional" courting is super restrictive you can't really do shit. You would need a chaperone at ALL times least you would be accused of improper behaviour for being alone with a male for 5 seconds. Sounds like a nightmare tbh.

I don't really see a lot of women wanting traditional courtship though. Just normal modern courtship with flowers and dates and occasional gifts.

Because it's one of the old school things that's still in their favor, a lot of women still want that kind of traditional man Without themselves being a traditional woman to compliment him. I get it though, especially if you actually like the guy who wouldn't want to be wined and dined and shown a good time and taken out and all that jazz lol

women chase all the time, the issue is, we men, are verrrry bad at picking up on it. Horribly bad actually. They do chase, they do try, but often it goes unnoticed. Years later you findout, oh...so and so really liked you. Remember when she (insert things she did) ???? She was soooo into you.

We are more foward about it, but don't confuse being forward with effort.

It sounds like you're under the impression that girls just don't approach guys if they're interested.

Have you considered that maybe they aren't interested in the guy in the first place, and that's why they don't approach?

Why are you assuming the girl is even interested? Maybe she hasn't made up her mind yet.

In my experience women love to court the right type of guys and guys go way overboard with courting and over pursuing. They don't give women a chance to be interested back. Have you ever heard a couple talk about how the guy pursued her and she didn't really like him but then a year later she finally gave up and now they are together? Does this sound healthy to you? Think about it.

In my experience there is still a stigma surrounding women approaching men. This is changing at a glacial pace, but it is changing. I don't have any studies or statistics to prove this, it's just from what I have experienced.
