I've been on TRP for about a year. I've made significant progress both physically and mentally and it's really showing in my dating success. I still lug around some blue luggage that I haven't thrown into the red fire and there are a few struggles I still have.

One of the most pressing at the moment is that I can't seem to keep a plate for more than a few days before they realize that they need to lock me down because I'm fun, I look great, and I have a great job. I get slowly conned into a LTR. A few weeks later I'll cut them off rather harshly but I'd rather not get there in the first place. Like a fag, I often leave them when I have some moral high ground.

My most recent situation is this. I met a really cute girl, very smart and active, excellent in bed, lives very close to me (which is rare considering I'm a bit rural at the moment), and she adores me. I'm on a keto diet and when she invited me for Thanksgiving this weekend she re-planned the whole meal to be low carb (down to the keto cheesecake and mashed cauliflower).

So we're going to this Bed and Breakfast this weekend with a group of her friends, and just a few hours before departure she texts me this morning "I told my friends that you were my boyfriend, hope that's ok, I figured it would be easier to explain this way."

1- you should fucking ask before you say something like that

2- we've known each other for maybe two weeks

3- it's very easy to say "the guy I've been seeing"

This girl is so sweet that I'd hate to crush her, but I really feel like doing it. She made me all of this shit for Thanksgiving and planned out the weekend and then drops the bomb on me. I feel like she's trying to manipulate me with silk cords but she has enough plausible deniability to where this would not be an argument that I'd enter.

You guys can probably see my blue pill struggle. I know what TRP wants me to do: call her out on her bullshit, dread her into canceling the trip, actually cancel the trip. I know that I'm NOT supposed to play along because then I've lost frame and I'm stuck as the boyfriend all weekend. Total boner killer TBH.

What do y'all think?

EDIT: UPDATE:

Confronted issue over text: "I'm excited about the weekend too, but this went from being thanksgiving with a friend because I happened to be in town to being your boyfriend in front of a bunch of friends I've never met. Why wouldn't you ask me before telling them that?"

This segued into a bunch of hamstering and her saying no commitments needed or expected from me, no need to adjust my behavior from normal (of course not, she wants her cake and to eat it too, but whatever) and that the point is to keep it low key and it was just a passing mention that I was her boyfriend and not an overt admission.

I of course intend of adjusting my behavior from normal, she needs to feel the mistake she made and not to feel like it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. Throughout the weekend I'm going to act like she's my plate, and after the weekend I'm going to have to go radio silent for a bit. Have a few dates lined up because the best way to show abundance is to be abundant right?

EDIT2: Weekend is still on, and a keto Thanksgiving is a bitchin' idea. She's been cooking all night too. If I had a heart and wasn't addicted to sex with different women she would be a keeper, after a vasectomy
