Onto your point though, I sense you've had some form of rejection recently and unfortunately that's just life. I'd like to acknowledge that much of the frustration you're feeling has been echoed by men themselves (And I admit to somewhat feeling this years ago). You're not alone in feeling like you do, but the truth is that you have just been unfortunate enough to have a string of bad experiences, this does not define all men as liars who are only after "hot" women.

I lack the ability to properly articulate myself on this point, but men do value physical attraction, obviously. But if you meet a more mature, stable man, then that's just ONE aspect of the decision whether to date someone. It's also worth mentioning that the anger and bitterness in this post is almost definitely a contributing factor to you getting passed up, Men can smell that kind of thing from a mile away, just like women can. I wouldn't claim to be a good, modest, nice woman if you're in turn going to write this kind of thing on the internet.

EDIT: Forgot to add this part, but I think it's definitely worth mentioning that you are almost certainly not ugly (Which it seems you're insinuating at the very least.). Very few people are genuinely, irredeemably ugly and beyond help.

I don't have time to respond as in depth to this post as I'd like but, for starters, RP women seek high value men, not men without character, sexual discipline. Many men like this exist, but they choose to marry feminine women who take care of themselves.

As for your thoughts on appearances, looking attractive is a skill (to an extent.)

In my opinion only about 5% of women are naturally hot without makeup, exercise, good fashion, good hygiene, and/or hair extensions.

This means that so long as you're committed to developing your skills in these areas, being hot is achievable if you put in the effort.

Shy and sweet isnt a talent

My ex-gf was a very good cook (I cooked too but she just loved food) - the number of women who can actually cook today is very small

She was very arts and crafty and would make things - just a creative feminine kind of presence - it was no one thing, it was just part of who she was

Especially men that work very hard, coming home to a hot meal every day and a smile - that is their love language, that keeps them coming home instead of going out

even if the wife is not pretty, she makes things around her pretty, she has the capacity to make the home beautiful, peaceful - thats a real talent and I dont mean “cleaning” - Im talking smells, colors, textures, aesthetic, class, art, visual poetry, etc

Being hot is definitely a plus but imagine living with a female version of Zoolander hahaha 🤣 just ridiculous - being hot isnt everything - or Zoolander raising your kids, its about that bad, is this a house for ants 🐜? Chicken of the sea?

Just being thin or athletic goes a long, long way - thin/athletic and hot are not the same

Just giving my two cents - i generally avoid women that I think are “trying too hard” to be hot - cant blame them for accentuating what they got, but if thats it, let me see a girl carrying a book around that isnt for school, who actually doesnt care about expectations etc and can talk deeply, passionately about something, anything

You ever been with someone that wasnt good at conversations? Its exhausting cause you gotta think and manage every conversation - (thinking) men want to be spellbound with words and ideas, storytelling etc

Many of the women in relationships that I know are far from hot. They're generally married or settled with guys are also far from hot. I suspect part of the issue is this modern trend of rating and assessing people through online dating rather than meeting people organically, and the current culture of hooking up and discarding people.

Depends. In long term looks for women SMV accounts only for 29 percent. 26 percent is age.The rest approx 45 percent is personality and faithfulness. As long as you maintain your physical form reasonably and have your own personality, hobbies etc. and remain faithful and in your age gap there shouldn't be a problem. Such a shame that so many great personalities are rejected just because they are not hot. Women who would be a delight to have get rejected because they aren't the guy's type.

Here's the thing though, it's not much about how pretty you are if you are average. It's about if you are they guy's type. I myself have seen so many "super hot" women who every guys seems to like, but I wouldn't go for her because ... she isn't my type.

But there are many average women who I just LOVE how they look.

Your frustration doesn't come out of thin air! There are plenty of men who throw their reason and dignity aside for a very beautiful woman. Take a good look at those types of couples and ask this question: will they be happy in 5 years? How about 10? A happy life and a happy marriage are not a rare gem, they are for regular people and therefore are achievable by us regular folks. Sure, it is frustrating to see a man chase a manipulative hottie, but by a certain age, most decent men are smarter than that. What have you done to become nice, feminine, have a good personality and interests? If men were only attracted to very beautiful women, the human race would become extinct millions of years ago, and thousands of average-looking people are falling in love every day. Of course, we all dream of an ideally attractive partner (both looks- and personality- wise), but when we find someone special, we get to love them along with all of their imperfections.
