There are a lot of great ideas here but there are some that don't completely resonate with me and this seems to be one of them.

I(40) asked my her(20) to be be my girlfriend after a month of talking everyday. She's placed in multiple beauty pageants, graduated two years early from UCLA this month, has a sweet heart, is funny, talented, not crazy, and stays active(we both played basketball in high school, but since I'm old she can shoot much better than I can hah). We've talked about getting married and having kids together since the beginning. She's self-centered but I managed to tone that down significantly a few months ago.

The big problem for me is she wants to be a mom and wife very soon but she doesn't want to work. She told me this from the beginning but over time it has gotten to me. She says she wants to be a teacher but only after the kids are old enough to not need her. She's from the kind of world where parents pack their kids' schedules with extracurricular activities and SAT & ACT(American college admissions tests) tutoring(which is what she went through as well), all for the purpose of getting them into the best colleges, the best jobs, the best social circles. Her ambition is, in her own words, "to have my kids be the best at everything, best looking, most intelligent, most athletic, most successful, and have them be little masters of the universe". She said this half joking half serious but I can tell that's her goal. It's annoying that she's so competitive and superficial which is against what I believe but that's besides the point. She plans on relying on me for her little magazine picture lifestyle and family dream. She says she'll stay home and take care of all the family stuff so that all I have to do when I come home from work is relax and give some attention to the kids(I work 12 hours a day on wall street). But I want her to work. I can't reconcile how the woman who managed to graduate from the best public university in America two years early and make an iPhone app when she was 16 is also the woman who doesn't work to work for at least 18 years and can stand staying home all day.

Advice/thoughts from the red pill community would be appreciated. Thanks.
